As of 2022, there are 944 cultural, tourism and art festivals in Korea. This paper classified the types of festivals into first, culture and arts, second, ecological nature, third, ecological resources, fourth, traditional history, fifth, resident harmony, sixth, local specialties, last, and others, and among them, the festivals that selected "cultural art" and "traditional history" were examined by local governments. In addition, the theme of Korean traditional music used for the festival was divided into eight categories: Arirang, Pansori, Pungmul (nongak), traditional dance, labor song, person, royal ritual, and seasonal customs, and the budget of the festival using Korean traditional music was examined. In addition, the use of Korean traditional music elements in the festival using Korean traditional music was divided into traditional reproduction, creative materials, competition hosting, academic topics, and experience tools.

우리나라 문화관광예술축제는 2022년 기준 944건이다. 본고는 축제의 종류를 ①문화예술 ② 생태자연 ③생태자원 ④전통역사 ⑤주민화합 ⑥지역특산물 ⑦기타로 구분하였고, 그 중에서 ‘문화예술’과 ‘전통역사’를 선택한 축제를 지방자치단체별로 살펴보았다. 또한 축제에 활용 한 국악 주제를 아리랑, 판소리, 풍물(농악), 전통춤, 노동요, 인물, 궁중의례, 세시풍속 등 8 가지로 나누어 고찰하고, 국악을 활용한 축제의 예산을 살펴보았다. 또한 국악을 활용한 축 제의 국악요소 활용양상을 전통재현, 창작소재, 경연개최, 학술주제, 체험도구로 구분하여 고찰한 것이다.
