This study examined students' satisfaction with the high school credit system recognition and curriculum for vocational high school credit system research schools and non-research school students in commercial high schools. The high school credit system research schools in this study are schools that have been operated by applying the high school credit system over a three-year operating period, and non-research schools include schools other than research schools designated as leading high school credit system schools. The analysis results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the subject of study among commercial high schools in their third year of conducting the school credit system, were found to have significantly higher level of awareness of the credit system compared to the opposite group. Secondly, as a result of the satisfaction analysis about the curriculum, it was observed the subject schools showed significantly higher satisfaction overall than the other group, particularly on the detailed items related to employment. From the perspective of the students, the school credit system seems to be satisfactory as they choose the curriculum and decide their career path on their own, and this result is expected to positively contribute to the normalization of public education through increased participation of students in education. The results of this study, which were derived from conducting a direct survey of students who actually experienced the high school credit system, are expected to play pivotal role as a pioneer and helps predicting the effectiveness and success.

본 연구는 상업계열 고등학교의 직업계고 학점제 연구학교와 비연구학교 학생을 대상으로 고교 학점제 인식 및 교육과정에 대한 학생들의 만족도에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 고교학점제 연구 학교는 3년의 운영기간을 통해 고교학점제를 적용하여 운영한 학교이며, 비연구학교는 연구학교 이 외의 학교로 고교학점제 선도학교로 지정된 학교를 포함한다. 연구학교는 모두 특성화고등학교이며, 비연구학교에는 특성화고등학교와 종합고등학교 형태의 학교들이 포함되어 있다. 본 연구의 분석결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고교학점제 연구학교 3년차인 상업계고등학교는 비연구학교에 비해 고교학점제에 대한 전 반적인 인식 수준에 있어서 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 고교학점제 시행 연차가 늘어날수록 학생들의 고교학점제에 대한 인식이 증가하고 있으며 고교학점제의 목표와 효과 등에 대해 서서히 보다 많이 인지해 가고 있는 과정에 있는 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 교육과정에 대한 만족도 분석결과 연구학교가 비연구학교에 비해 전반적으로 유의하게 높 은 만족도를 보였으며 특히 취업과 관련된 세부항목에 그 차이가 뚜렷한 것으로 관찰되었다. 교육 의 주된 당사자인 학생의 관점에서 볼 때 교육과정을 학생 본인이 직접 선택하고 자신의 진로를 자 율적으로 결정한다는 측면에서 고교학점제는 학생 본인에게 만족도가 큰 것으로 보이며, 이러한 결 과는 학생들의 학교 교육에 대한 참여도를 높여 공교육 정상화에도 긍정적으로 기여할 것으로 판단 된다. 고교학점제를 실제로 경험한 학생들에 대한 직접적인 조사를 실시하여 도출한 본 연구의 결과는 2022년 시행되는 직업계고 학점제와 2025년 전체고등학교에서 시행될 고교학점제의 실효성 및 성공 가능성을 미리 짐작하고 그 방향성을 예측해 보는 데 있어서 좋은 나침반이 될 것으로 기대된다.
