This purpose of this study is to, based on aesthetics of reception, suggest an outline for the writing direction of the “Humanities and Ethics” textbook to be produced in the future. aesthetics of reception not only elevates the reader to an equal position with the writer, but also presents elements of communication by analysing the act of reading. Advocates of this theory derived from aesthetics of reception ⓐ the reader’s perspective as active participants, ⓑ attitude theory and repertoire as criteria for selecting text, and ⓒ uncertainty and opening as criteria for text sequencing, and they were assumed as principles in writing the textbook, “Humanities and Ethics.” In addition, through applying these writing principles, specific examples of textbook writing were presented, and the meaning was considered.

본 연구의 목적은 수용미학을 바탕으로, 향후 제작될 『인문학과 윤리』 교과서의 집필 방향을 개략적으로 제언하려는 것이다. 수용미학은 독 자를 작가와 대등한 위치로 격상시킬 뿐만 아니라, 독서 행위를 분석 하여 소통의 요소를 제시한다. 논자들은 수용미학으로부터 ⓐ 능동적 참여자로서의 독자관, ⓑ 텍스트 선정 기준으로서의 레퍼토리와 부정 성, ⓒ 텍스트 배열 기준으로서의 미정성과 빈자리 등을 도출하였고, 이를 『인문학과 윤리』 교과서의 집필 원리로 상정하였다. 또한 이러 한 집필 원리를 적용하여 교과서 집필의 구체적인 사례를 제시하고 그 의미를 고찰하였다.
