This paper is a study on the moral education method to develop moral literacy. Moral literacy is the capacity to practice moral action, to develop moral judgment, moral motivation and moral sensitivity. Moral literacy of elementary school students grows influenced by their personal and socio-cultural environment. Elementary school students are the digital generation affected by the digital environment. However, their social and cultural tendencies are being strengthened due to the COVID-19 infection. Digital culture that emphasize to fun and immediacy, participation and sharing, expression and communication in the digital world are leads to weakening of moral literacy. The purpose of this study is to set the direction of moral method for use 「Oedipus Rex」at elementary school morals class.

도덕적 문해력은 도덕적 민감성, 판단력, 도덕적 동기화 및 실천 등 의 토대가 되는 능력이다. 초등학생들의 도덕적 문해력은 개인 및 사 회문화적 환경에 영향을 받으면서 성장한다. 요즈음 초등학생들은 디 지털 환경에 영향을 받는 디지털세대이다. 그런데 코로나 19 감염증으 로 인한 비대면 수업의 확대로 이들의 사회·문화적 경향성이 강화되고 있다. 재미와 즉시성, 참여와 공유, 개인의 관심중심, 표현과 소통을 중 시하는 특성이 강화되며, 그 영향력으로 인해 초등학생들의 도덕적 문해력 발달이 약화되고 있다. 이에 우리는 초등학생들의 도덕적 문해력 발달을 강화할 수 있는 방 법으로 도덕과 수업에 「오이디푸스왕」을 활용하고, 그 방향과 실제 를 고찰하고자 한다.
