The problem of sexual violence in the metaverse is getting bigger and bigger. Since the metaverse is based on the mutual relationship between users, it is taking place in the metaverse in a form similar to sexual violence that occurs in relationships in real space. This thesis examines the problem of sexual violence occurring in Metaverse and explores preventive measures. First, I reviewed cyber sexual violence, digital sexual violence, and metaverse sexual violence occurring in cyberspace. Cyber sexual violence and digital sexual violence are often related because information and communication technology and digital technology are intertwined. With the development of artificial intelligence technology, sexual violence has also been expanded into a new form, and virtual sexual violence issues have also arisen in the metaverse. These sexual violence issues are basically related to the violation of the ethical principle of respect for autonomy. Therefore, as a method to prevent sexual violence in Metaverse, the law, technology, and ethical aspects of protecting autonomy were presented. However, more fundamental measures than legal and technical measures are ethical measures. This is because respect for autonomy can be protected as an optimal value when operated as an ethical norm within the metaverse rather than relying on laws or technology. I presented personal distance according to the ethical principle of respect for autonomy and practice of boundary ethics as a way to prevent sexual violence in Metaverse.

메타버스 성폭력 문제가 점점 커지고 있다. 메타버스는 이용자 간의 상호 관계를 기반으로 하기 때문에 현실공간 속의 관계에서 일어나고 있는 성폭력과 유사한 형식으로 메타버스에서 일어나고 있다. 본 논문 은 메타버스에서 일어나고 있는 성폭력 문제를 살펴보고 예방 방안을 탐색하였다. 우선 사이버 공간에서 일어나고 있는 사이버 성폭력, 디지 털 성폭력, 메타버스 성폭력에 대해 살펴보았다. 사이버 성폭력과 디지 털 성폭력은 정보통신 기술, 디지털 기술이 맞물려 있어서 사이버 성 폭력과 디지털 성폭력이 연관되어 있는 경우가 많다. 인공지능 기술이 발달되면서 성폭력도 새로운 형식으로 확장되어 메타버스에서는 버츄 얼 성폭력 문제들까지 생긴 것이다. 이러한 성폭력 문제들은 기본적으 로 자율성 존중의 윤리 원칙을 어긴 것과 관련된다. 따라서 메타버스 에서 성폭력 예방 방안으로 자율성 보호를 위한 법, 기술, 윤리의 측면 의 방안을 제시하였다. 그렇지만 법률적, 기술적 대책보다 더 근본적인 대책은 윤리적인 대책이라 하겠다. 자율성 존중은 법이나 기술에 의존 하기보다 메타버스 내의 윤리적 규범으로 작동될 때 최적의 가치로 보 호될 수 있기 때문이다. 자율성 존중의 윤리원칙에 따른 개인적 거리 두기, 경계윤리의 실천을 메타버스에서 성폭력을 예방하는 하나의 방 안으로 제시하였다.
