This study aims to examine the relationship between gender sensitivity and job satisfaction of incumbent police officials in the modern era when gender sensitivity has recently become important, and empirically analyze the effect of gender sensitivity on job satisfaction according to demographic characteristics. Conducting research on the job satisfaction of each police officer and understanding it is important in that it contributes to the achievement of the goals of the police organization, such as using police personnel more efficiently and providing high-level security services to the public. In other words, if the job satisfaction of police officials decreases, the quality of life of police officials can be lowered and distrust of the organization can arise, which can affect the overall security service, so various dimensions of approaches are needed to clarify the specific causal relationship of job satisfaction. In other words, it is very important to identify the influencing factors that affect job satisfaction. Based on these results, from the perspective of increasing job satisfaction of police officials, we intend to raise basic data that can promote the will to foster gender sensitivity for establishing and implementing security policies in the future. The analysis results are as follows. As a result of analyzing job satisfaction related to population factors and social exploration of the survey target, significant results were found that affect job satisfaction according to gender, work experience, class, and work type. The longer men work, the higher the position, and the higher the awareness of gender sensitivity, indicating higher job satisfaction.

이 연구는 최근 성인지 감수성이 중요해진 현대 시대에 현직 경찰공무원의 성인지 감수성과 직무 만족의 관계를 살펴보고, 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 성인지 감수성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 대 하여 실증적으로 분석해보고자 한다. 경찰공무원 개개인의 직무만족도에 관한 연구를 실시하고 이에 대해서 파악하는 것은 경찰인력을 보다 효율적으로 활용하고 국민에게 높은 수준의 보안서비스를 제공하는 등 경찰 조직의 목표 달성에 기여한다는 점에서 중요하다. 즉 경찰공무원의 직무만족도가 떨어지면 경찰공무원의 삶의 질이 낮아지고 조직에 대한 불신이 싹트게 되어 사회 전반의 치안서비 스에 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 직무만족도에 대한 구체적인 인과관계를 명확히 하기 위한 다양 한 차원의 접근이 필요하다. 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 영향요인을 파악하는 것이 매우 중요하다 는 얘기다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 경찰공무원의 직무만족도를 높이는 관점에서 향후 보안정책과 수립, 시 행을 위한 성인지 감수성 함양 의지를 고취할 수 있는 기초자료를 제고하고자 한다. 분석결과는 다 음과 같다. 조사대상의 인구요인 및 사회탐구와 관련된 직무만족도를 분석한 결과 성별, 근무경력, 계급, 근 무유형 등에 따라 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 유의미한 결과가 나왔다. 남성이 오래 근무할수록 직 급이 높아지고, 성인지 감수성에 대한 인식이 높아져 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
