This study aimed to examine the effect of the ‘Korean music convergence play activities’ program on preschoolers’ social skills improvement, combining play therapy using children-centered traditional plays and Korean music education activities using traditional nursery rhymes. The program consisted of twice a week for 60 minutes, a total of 10 sessions. To investigate the functional effect of social skills improvement, ‘the Korean-Social Skill Rating Scale for Preschoolers’ developed by Yun Chi-yeon and descriptive statistics of frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, Cronbach’s α coefficient independent sample t-test, preschoolers’ social skills, the mean and standard deviation of the probability distribution were calculated, the corresponding sample t-test was performed, and the K-SPSS program was used for analysis. As a result, in the homogeneity test, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups, indicating that they were a homogeneous group. Also, in the social behavioral influence test, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups, indicating that the experimental group had a positive effect on social skills improvement. In the effect test according to the post-test difference, the experimental group had a difference in the mean scores of the pre-post test, but the control group had no significant differences. Consequently, it was found that there was a positive effect on the experimental group. The findings of the study revealed that ‘Korean music convergence play activities’ has an educational effect as well as a social skills improvement effect, suggesting the need for continuous and repetitive program operation for early childhood education activities.

본 연구는 유아 중심의 전래놀이를 활용한 놀이치료와 전래동요를 활용한 국악 교육활동 을 융합한 ‘국악 융합 놀이 활동’ 프로그램 재구성으로 주 2회 60분씩, 총 10차시를 적용해 사회성 증진에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 사회성 증진의 기능효과를 알아보기 위해 윤치연이 개발한 ‘한국 유아 사회성 기술 검사 지’와 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차의 기술 통계량, Cronbach’s α 계수산출, 독립표본 - 검정, 유아의 사회성, 확률적 사고의 평균과 표준편차를 산출, 대응 표본 -검정을 하였으며, K-SPSS 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 동질성 검정에 있어, 두 집단 간 통계적으로 유의 미한 차이가 없어 동질적 집단임을 알 수 있었고, 사회성 행동 영향 검정에 있어, 두 집단의 점수가 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있어 실험집단의 사회성 증진에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤음 을 알 수 있었다. 사후 검사 차이에 따른 효과 검정에서도, 실험집단은 사전-사후 검사 평균 점수 차이가 있으나 통제집단은 유의미하지 않아 실험집단에 긍정적 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과 ‘국악 융합 놀이 활동’은 교육적 효과는 물론 사회성 증진 효과도 있음이 입증되어, 유아교육 활동에 지속적이고 반복적인 프로그램 운영이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.
