This study aimed to understand what is composed of social and cultural situations by era through articles related to children's play therapy appearing in five major national newspapers from the 1980s to the 2020s, and analyze them with critical discourse analysis methods. As a result of the study, first, the biggest characteristic of the trend analysis results of articles by period is that the related keywords differ by period. Second, the discourse performance of articles by era could be interpreted according to the ideological role of play therapy articles and the process of play therapy development using strategies according to the linguistic technology of the text. Third, it was found that the social and cultural context of the play therapy discourse by era was influenced by society and culture according to the period to form a discourse, and the influence on the social and cultural context again with the perception and policy of play therapy. This study is meaningful in that it provided social awareness and policy measures for play therapy through discourse performance and social and cultural contexts according to the formation and use of discourse.

본 연구는 1980년대부터 2020년대까지의 주요 전국지 5개의 신문기사에 나타난 아동 놀이치료 관련 내용 의 기사를 통해 시대별 사회문화적 상황 속에서 어떠한 내용으로 구성되어 있는가를 파악하고 비판적 담론 분석 방법으로 분석하여 텍스트 표상과 담론수행 및 사회·문화적 맥락에서의 관계 고찰을 목표로 하였다. 연구의 결과 로 첫째, 시대별 기사의 동향분석 결과 큰 특징은 시대별로 연관 키워드가 상이하다는 점이다. 둘째, 시대별 기사 의 담론수행은 텍스트의 언어학적 기술에 따른 전략을 사용하여 놀이치료 기사의 이데올로기적 역할과 놀이치료 발달과정에 따른 담론해석을 할 수 있었다. 셋째, 시대별 놀이치료 담론의 사회·문화적인 맥락은 놀이치료 담론은 시기에 따라 사회·문화적인 영향을 받아 담론을 형성하고 그 영향으로 놀이치료에 대한 인식과 정책으로 사회·문 화적인 맥락에 다시 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 담론의 형성과 활용에 따른 담론수행과 사회·문화 적 맥락을 통해 놀이치료에 대한 사회적 인식과 정책적 방안을 제공하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.
