Color plays a decisive role in the emotional development of children. Recently, interest in IPTV edutainment contents for preschoolers is increasing. As edutainment contents play an important role as education by inducing creativity and imagination as well as simple fun for children, color planning for children's emotional development is an essential element. In this study, the main screen colors, adjective images, Hue & Tone were analyzed and psychological responses were analyzed by targeting the edutainment contents of the three information and communication companies' Olleh TV 'Kids Land', Uplus 'Children's Country', and Btv 'Jam Kids'. To find out, color is extracted and analyzed using the Korean standard color color analysis program. As a result of the study, first, it was found that the application of warm colors preferred by children to induce a positive effect and response to children was prominent. It was designed to induce interest and increase attention and visibility. Third, it was found that most of the adjective image scales correspond to the static axis, and a secondary color that gives lightness and cuteness to the natural and mild main color is used. Based on this study, it is expected that it will be used as a guideline to establish a color plan that fits children's cognitive changes and reactions in the production of edutainment contents.

색채는 아동의 정서 발달에 결정적 역할을 한다. 최근 미취학 아동을 대상으로 한 IPTV 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠는 아동에게 단순한 재미뿐만 아니라, 창의력과 상상력을 유도하며 교육으로서의 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있어, 아동의 정서 발달을 위한 색채 계획은 필수 요소라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 정보통신 3사의 올레tv ‘키즈랜드’, 유플러스 ‘아이들나라’, Btv ‘잼 키즈’에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠를 대상으로 하여 메인 화면의 색채와 형용사 이미지, Hue & Tone을 분석하고 심리적 반응을 알아보고자 한국 표준색 색채 분석 프로그램을 이용하여 색상을 추출하고 분석한다. 연구결과 첫째, 아동에게 긍정적인 영향과 반응을 유도하기 위해 아동이 선호하는 난색계열의 색 적용이 두드러짐을 알 수 있었으며 둘째, 명도 및 채도의 대비와 반대되는 색상의 대비를 통해 주조색의 지루함을 없애고 흥미로움을 유발하고 주목성과 시인성을 높이도록 하였다. 셋째, 형용사 이미지스케일이 대부분 정적인 축에 해당하며 내츄럴하고 온화한 주조색에 경쾌함과 귀여움을 주는 보조색을 사용함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 토대로 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 제작에 있어 아동의 인지 변화와 반응에 맞는 색채 계획을 수립하는데 가이드라인으로 활용되기를 기대해본다.
