It is no longer necessary to study criminology if we can clearly understand why humans commit crimes. This is because, if the cause and reason for a crime are clear, methods to prevent and prevent crime are devised. The purpose of this study is to confirm whether there is any part that acts differently depending on the sexual characteristics of men and women among the many causes and reasons that lead to committing crimes Research has begun. Therefore, through the preceding studies on women's crimes studied from 1970 to 1990, the definition of women's crimes, the characteristics of women's crimes, the causes of women's crimes, and the relationship with women's crimes were examined, and the characteristics of crimes unique to women. In order to understand the crimes against women today, we want to understand them properly.

인간이 범죄를 저지르는 이유에 대해 명확하게 알 수 있다면 더 이상 범죄학에서 연구하는 일이 필요 하지 않다. 이는 범죄원인과 이유가 분명하다면 범죄를 예방하고, 막을 수 있는 방법들이 고안되기 때문 이다. 범죄를 행하도록 만드는 많은 원인과 이유들 가운데 남녀의 성적인 특징에 따라 다르게 작용하는 부분은 과연 없는지를 확인하고자 하는 위함이고, 남성과 여성이 서로 각기 다른 원인과 이유로 범죄유 형이 다르다는 점의 의문점에서 이 연구가 시작되었다. 따라서 1970년대부터 1990년대까지 연구되었던 여성범죄에 관한 선행연구를 통해 여성범죄의 정의, 여성범죄의 특성, 여성범죄의 발생원인, 그리고 범죄와 여성범죄와의 관계 등을 살펴보고, 여성만이 가지 는 범죄 특성 등을 이해하여 오늘날 여성범죄에 대한 올바른 이해를 하고자 한다.
