The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between school bullying and acculturation stress experienced by multicultural adolescents and their school adaptation as a mediation variable. For this purpose, this study analyzed the Multicultural Adolescent Panel Study data nationally collected by National Youth Policy Institute in 2018. We first examined the descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analyses using the SPSS 21.0. After that a structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed pathway among the variables using Mplus 7.0. First, acculturation stress was not significantly related to the school bullying. Second, school adaptation, including teachers’ support and academic skills were found to mediate the relationship between acculturation stress and bullying. Limitations of the current study and suggestions for future investigations regarding causes of multicultural adolescents’ victimized from bullying as school violence from the standpoint of acculturation stress and school adaptation. Based on this results, policy implications were recommended.

본 연구는 다문화가정의 청소년들이 한국 및 외국인 부모 나라의 문화에 따른 스트레스가 학교폭 력의 피해 경험에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 학교 요인 즉, 교사의 애착과 학업 영역이 학교폭력의 피 해 경험에 매개효과를 가지는 가를 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하고자 한국청 소년정책연구원에서 수행한 다문화청소년 패널조사의 2018 데이터를 바탕으로 통계적으로 분석하였 다. 이를 위해 SPSS 21.0을 활용해 기술통계와 상관분석을 실시하였다. 다음으로 Mplus 7.0 프로그 램을 통한 구조방정식모델을 활용해 측정모형과 구조모형을 검증하였다. 연구 결과 먼저, 다문화 청소년 대상의 학교폭력 피해경험에 대한 다문화 스트레스의 직접적 효 과는 유의미하지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 다음으로 본 연구에서 관심을 둔 주된 연구 가설로 다문 화 청소년의 다문화 스트레스와 집단괴롭힘 피해의 관계에 있어서 학교요인의 매개효과가 유의한지 를 분석하였다. 그 결과 다문화 스트레스와 학교폭력 피해경험 사이의 학교 요인의 매개효과는 유의 미한 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구는 다문화 청소년의 한국사회 적응과 학교폭력 피해경험, 학교요인 등 관련 요인 간 경로를 밝혔다는 점에 의의가 있으며, 이러한 연구결과에 따라 학교폭력 피해를 근 절할 수 있는 정책적 제언을 하였다.
