This study is a study on the perception and attitude of police officers for the police predictive policing system. The purpose of this study is to measure the perception and attitude of the police who operate predictive policing and to promote the efficiency of predictive policing that will be expanded in the future. This study was conducted through in-depth interviews between researchers and study subjects from April 8, 2022 to April 13, 2022 and a structured pre-questionnaire was used. As this study analyzed the police officer's perception and attitude for the operation of predictive policing, first, awareness of the efficiency of the predictive policing system, second, attitude for discretion when introducing the predictive policing system, third, risk and problems of the predictive policing operation, and fourth, awareness of the utilization of predictive policing and other free opinions were discussed and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was judged that understanding of legislation, manpower expansion, operation method, and predictive measures should be preceded for active introduction, operation, and practical use. In addition, it was also found that voluntary decision and utilization were important, not implementation orders for decisions of the predictive policing system. Accordingly, the analysis of big data artificial intelligence should eventually create an organizational culture that actively utilizes predictive policing, such as department and employees' willingness to use it and it was analyzed that the recruitment of professionals such as technology development and operation personnel within the police and government departments regarding the predictive policing system was the most urgent issue.

이 연구는 경찰의 예측치안 시스템에 대한 경찰관의 인식과 태도에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구의 목 적은 예측치안을 운영하는 경찰의 인식과 태도를 측정하여 향후 확대될 예측치안 운영의 효율화를 도모하는 데 그 목적이 존재한다. 이 연구는 2022년 4월 8일부터 2022년 4월 13일까지 연구자와 연구 대상자의 심층 인터뷰를 통해 이루어졌고 구조화된 사전 설문지를 사용하였다. 본 연구가 예측치안의 운영에 대한 경찰관 인식과 태도를 분석함에 따라 예측치안 시스템 효율성에 대한 인식, 예측치안 시스템 도입 시 재량에 대한 태도, 예측치안운영에 대한 위험성 및 문제점, 예측치안 활용성 인식과 기타 자유로운 의견을 제시 하는 것을 중심으로 논의되고 응답에 대한 분석이 이루어졌다. 분석 결과, 적극적인 도입과 운영 그리고 실용화를 위해 법률제정, 인력확충, 운영방식 및 예측치 안에 대한 이해가 선행되어야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 또한 예측치안 시스템의 결정에 대한 이행 명 령이 아니라 자발적 결정 및 활용이 중요하다는 점을 발견할 수 있었다. 이에 따라서, 빅데이터 인공지능 분석도 결국은 부서 및 직원들의 활용의지 등 예측치안을 적극 적으로 활용하고자 하는 조직문화가 만들어져야 하며, 예측치안 시스템과 관련해 경찰 내부를 비롯 한 정부부처 내 기술 개발인력 및 운영인력 등 전문인력의 충원이 가장 시급한 문제로 분석되었다.
