This study attempted to explore the spatial meaning of Goryeoin Village in G Metropolitan City with Lefebvre's social space theory. To achieve this research purpose, three research questions were established. First, what is Lefebvre's concept of social space? Second, how is the formation process of the Goryeoin village space in G Metropolitan City? Third, what is the spatial meaning of Goryeoin Village in G Metropolitan City through Lefebvre's social space theory? For this purpose, based on hermeneutic research, Lefebvre's analysis of social space theory and case study method were used. As a result, the Goryeoin village space can be presented with three spatial characteristics. First, it is a multi-ethnic village community space as a spatial practice. Second, it is a cultural and artistic urban regeneration space as a spatial reproduction. Third, it is a historical and educational experience space as a reproduction space. This study can contribute to theorizing the social practice of various immigrant spaces in korea in the future.

본 연구에서는 르페브르의 사회적 공간이론으로 G광역시 고려인 마을의 공간적 의미를 탐구하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 세 가지 연구문제를 설 정하였다. 첫째, 르페브르의 사회적 공간개념은 무엇인가? 둘째, G광역시 고려인 마 을 공간의 형성과정은 어떠한가? 셋째, 르페브르의 사회적 공간이론을 통해 본 G광역 시 고려인 마을의 공간적 의미는 무엇인가? 이를 위해 해석학적 연구에 기반하여 르 페브르의 사회적 공간이론 분석과 사례연구방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과 고려인 마을 공간은 크게 세 가지 공간성으로 제시될 수 있다. 첫째, 공간적 실천으로서 다민족 마을 공동체 공간이다. 둘째, 공간재현으로서 문화·예술적 도시재생 공간이다. 셋째, 재현공간으로서 역사·교육적 체험공간이다. 본 연구는 향후 국내 다양한 이민자 공간 의 사회적 실천을 이론화하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
