The purpose of this study is to explore the components of competencies required for music therapy supervisors teaching clinical practicum or internship courses at universities and build them into a systematic competency model. The competency model was drafted through literature review, in-depth interviews with experienced music therapy supervisors, open-ended surveys, and expert consulting, and then confirmed through three rounds of Delphi surveys. The subjects for the Delphi survey was carried out for certified music therapists having domestic and foreign music therapist licenses and clinical music therapy supervisor experience more than 5 years, or educators/professors at universities in charge of training music therapists. A total of 20 music therapy supervisors had participated. As a result of the study, a competency model for music therapy supervisor consisting of 3 competency clusters, 9 competency factors, and 61 competency indicators was developed. The 3 competency clusters consisted of the competency cluster of theoretical knowledge, job performance, and attitude and quality. First, the competency cluster of theoretical knowledge consisted of two competency factors: understanding of music therapy and understanding of supervision. Second, the competency cluster of job performance consisted of four competency factors: music therapy application skill, supervision performance skill, education and guidance, and evaluation. Finally, the competency cluster of attitude and quality consisted of three competency factors: professional personality, effort for professional self-development, and ethical and legal literacy. This study is valuable because it derived the components of an agreed competency based on the actual experiences of music therapy supervisors in the university and graduate school curriculum and presented specific competency indicators. In addition, this study can be used as a basis for self-inspection to strengthen professional competency of music therapy supervisor.

본 연구의 목적은 대학에서 실습 및 인턴 과정을 담당하는 음악치료 슈퍼바이저에게 필요한 역량의 구 성요소를 탐색하고 이를 체계적인 역량모형으로 구축하는 것이다. 연구 과정은 문헌 검토, 숙련된 음악 치료 슈퍼바이저와의 심층 면접, 개방형 설문 조사, 그리고 전문가 자문을 거쳐 역량모형의 초안을 구 성한 후, 3차에 걸친 델파이 조사를 통해 역량모형을 확정하였다. 델파이 조사를 위한 연구 대상은 국 내ㆍ외 인증된 음악치료사 자격증을 보유하고 임상경험이 있는 음악치료사이면서 음악치료 슈퍼비전을 5년 이상 시행한 음악치료 슈퍼바이저이거나 음악치료사 양성을 담당하는 대학의 교수 또는 교육가 20명이었다. 연구 결과, 3개 역량군, 9개 역량요소, 61개의 역량지표로 구성된 음악치료 슈퍼바이저 역량모형이 완성되었다. 3개의 역량군은 이론지식, 직무수행, 그리고 태도 및 자질 역량군으로 구성되 었다. 먼저, 이론지식 역량군은 음악치료에 대한 이해와 슈퍼비전에 대한 이해, 2개의 역량요소로 구성 되었다. 직무수행 역량군은 음악치료 적용 기술, 슈퍼비전 수행 기술, 교육 및 감독, 그리고 평가, 4개 의 역량요소로 구성되었다. 마지막으로, 태도 및 자질 역량군은 직업 인성, 전문성 증진 노력, 그리고 윤리적ㆍ법적 소양, 3개의 역량요소로 구성되었다. 본 연구는 대학 및 대학원 교육과정 음악치료 슈퍼 바이저들의 실제적인 경험을 기초로 하여 합의된 역량의 구성요소를 도출하고, 구체적인 역량지표를 제 시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 역량 강화를 위한 자가 점검의 근거 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
