The purpose of this study is to find out whether social stigma plays a mediating role in the process of affecting smartphone addiction by parental affective support perceived by adolescents with delinquent experiences. To this purpose, this study used data from the 5th year of the longitudinal survey on the life and consciousness of adolescents who were discontinued from school in 2017 released by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. This data was collected through a one-on-one face-to-face interview using a structured questionnaire from June to August 2017, and contains information on 318 adolescents who stopped studying. Among them, data from 258 adolescents with delinquent experiences were analyzed in this study. As a result of the analysis, it was found that perceived parental affective support had a direct negative effect on smartphone addiction and social stigma, respectively, and social stigma had a positive effect on smartphone addiction. In addition, it was found that the perceived parental affective support had a negative effect on smartphone addiction indirectly through social stigma. Finally, based on these analysis results, the implications of this study were presented.

본 연구의 목적은 비행경험청소년이 지각한 부모의 정서적 지원이 스마트폰중 독에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 사회적 낙인감이 매개역할을 하는지를 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 공개한 2017년도 학업중단청소년의 삶과 의식에 대한 종단적 조사 5차년도 자료를 이용하였다. 이 자료는 2017년 6월에서 8월까지 구조화된 설문지를 이용한 1대1 대면면접을 통 해 수집되었으며, 학업중단청소년 318명의 정보를 담고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이 가운데 비행경험이 있는 청소년 258명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 지각된 부모의 정서적 지원은 스마트폰중독과 사회적 낙인감에 각기 부적 영향을 직접 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 낙인감은 스마트폰중독에 정적 영향을 직접 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 그리고 지각된 부모의 정서적 지원은 사회적 낙인감을 통해 스마트폰중독에 부적 영향을 간접적으로 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으 로 이러한 분석결과에 기초하여 본 연구의 시사점을 제시하였다.
