- 『NiNiGwiSeong』 is a Chinese trade painting study book compiled in the late Joseon Dynasty, and although the purpose and author of the compilation are unknown, the It is an important resource for studying speech. This paper sheds light on the phonological system of the Northeast dialect at the time through the analysis of the surnames of the velar sound, and guttural of the 『NiNiGwiSeong』 ｢QIANZIWEN｣. As a phonological characteristic of the Northeast dialect, the mixed phenomenon of Zero Initial /ø/ and the voiced wind fricative /ʐ/, etc. It could be seen through the markings. It is believed that some Chinese characters pronounced as /ʐ/ in the dialect of Mandarin Chinese were pronounced as Zero Initial. This is considered to be worthy of reference as a basis for more clearly defining the region of the northeast of the bill reflected in 『NiNiGwiSeong』.
