In today’s IT industry field, isomorphism level of information systems in the organization is deemed to have close relation with improvement of productivity and acquisition of competitiveness. The studymay bemeaningful in in terms of direction in the respect that how isomorphismtheory is reflected in information systemassimilation process in such background. Especially, isomorphismphenomenon found in information system assimilation process due to three systematic pressures (Mimetic pressure, Coercive pressure, Normative pressure) are reviewed. In the study, the relationship between information systems in the organization and isomorphism phenomenon was analyzed in detail and, based on this analysis, it was found that informal factors related to information systems may give large influences on the isomorphism process in the organization. The study was conducted for balanced setting of the ratio of executive group and worker group focused in the subjects having not less than five years of work experiences. For reference,maximumsubjects of an organizationwere limited to 10 persons and the empirical study was conducted for 217 subjects from more than 25 enterprises. The case that isomorphism theory of sociology was grafted to information system assimilation process will play a meaningful role for expansion of business administration and IT researches in future. Especially, competitive advantage viewpoint which was mostly focused in financial viewpoint will contribute in expansion ofmore diverse researchmodels through grafting of the isomorphismtheory.

오늘날 IT 산업 현장에서는 정보시스템의 조직 내 동화 정도는 생산성 향상 및 경쟁력 확보와 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 바라본다. 이런 배경 에서 본 연구는 조직의 정보시스템 동화 과정에서 동형화 이론이 어떻게 반영되는지 그 구조를 살펴보는데 큰 방향성이 있다고 볼 수 있다. 특히 세 가지 제도적 압력으로 인해 정보시스템의 동화 과정에서 발생하는 동형화 현상을 고찰하였다. 동형화 이론을 중심으로 정보시스템의 조직 내 동형화 현상과의 인과관계를 세부적으로 탐색하였고, 이를 통해 정보시스템과 관련된 비정형적인 요인들이 조직 내 동화과정에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있는 가능성을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 해당 조직에서 최소 5년 이상의 업무 경험을 보유하고 있는 대상자를 중심으로 임원 그룹과 실무 직원 그룹의 비율을 균형감 있게 설정하는 데 큰 노력을 기울였다. 참고로 한 조직에서 최대 인원은 10명까지로 제한하였으며, 25개 기업 이상의 조직 에서 최종적으로 217명의 연구 표본을 대상으로 실증연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 사회학의 동형화 이론을 정보시스템 동화 과정에 접 목한 사례는 향후 경영학 및 IT 연구 분야의 확장성에 의미 있는 연결고리 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 특별히 그동안 재무적 관점에서 주로 초점을 맞추어 온 경쟁우위 확보 관점을 본 연구의 동형화 이론 접목을 통하여 더욱 다양한 연구모델의 확장 측면에서 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
