The purpose of this paper is to examine the current status and trend of Yeokhakseo’s studies conducted in Korea and to explore how to proceed with future research. The study of Yeokhakseo in Korea was conducted in the following order: Chinese studies (42%) > Japanese studies (37%) > Manchu(Jurchen studies) (10%) > Mongolian studies (7%) > General theory (5%). In the study of Hanhak, mainly research focused on ‘Nogeoldae’ and ‘Baktongsa’ were the main studies. In the study of Waehak, there are overwhelmingly many studies on ‘Cheophaesineo’. By period, research tends to be activated as new materials are discovered. The increase in the number of foreign students due to the Korean Wave and globalization also led to vitalization of Yeokhakseo. In addition, research and cooperation with native speakers of Greater China became the driving force behind the study of Yeokhakseos. Future Yeokhakseo’s research can be developed through overcoming the bias of specific matirial research, revitalizing translation work, databaseizing the entire Yeokhakseo’s, expanding the research area, and nurturing the next generation of studies.

본고는 한국에서 이루어진 역학서 연구의 현황과 경향을 살펴보고 앞으로의 연구 를 어떻게 진행해야 할 것인가를 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 한국에서의 역학서의 학 별 연구는 한학(42%) > 왜학(37%) > 청학(여진학)(10%) > 몽학(7%) > 총론(5%)의 순으로 이루어졌다. 한학은 『노걸대』와 『박통사』를 중심으로 한 연구가 주를 이루었 고, 몽학과 청학은 『몽어유해』, 『동문유해』, 『한정문감』과 같이 어휘류에 대한 연구가 많았다. 왜학은 『첩해신어』를 대상으로 한 연구가 압도적으로 많다. 시기별로는 새로 운 자료의 발굴에 따라 연구가 활성화되는 경향을 띤다. 한류(韓流)와 글로벌화에 따 른 외국인 유학생의 증가도 역학서 연구의 활성화를 가져왔다. 또한 원어민 화자, 중화권(中華圈)의 연구와 협력도 역학서 연구의 원동력이 되었다. 앞으로의 역학서 연구 는 자료 연구의 편향성 극복, 역주 작업 활성화, 전체 역학서 자료의 데이터베이스화, 연구 영역의 확대, 학문 후속 세대의 양성 등을 통해서 발전할 수 있을 것이다.
