Due to the spread of COVID-19 and the prolongation of the pandemic, the world is facing economic stagnation and low growth. Travel bans of major countries and widespread travel restrictions have led to the suspension of tourism exchanges between countries, which has caused great damage. In the case of the casino industry, the damage caused by COVID-19 is even greater because the service target is mainly foreigners, and due to this, it is facing an irresistible crisis due to job security and payment of the Tourism Promotion and Development Fund. The casino industry, centered on face-to-face customer services, is inevitably more vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, and the importance and scope of security have been further highlighted and expanded to protect assets, executives, employees, and customers. In this study, a literature survey method was used to explore changes in the casino industry and casino security in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. A high level of security is essential in order to quickly adapt to the changing trend of tourism during the COVID-19 and create technological innovation in the casino industry. Through this, efforts should be made to change the public's perception of ambivalence or light and shade of the casino industry more positive, and preemptive responses should be made to develop into a high-quality service industry through more open policies than before.

코로나19의 확산과 장기화로 인해 전 세계는 경제적인 위축과 저성장에 직면하고 있다. 주요국들의 입국 금지와 광범위한 여행 제한 조치는 국가 간 관광 교류의 중단 상황을 불러왔으며 이로 인해 큰 피해를 입게 되었다. 카지노 산업의 경우 서비스 대상 이 주로 외국인이기 때문에 코로나19로 인한 피해가 더욱 막대하고, 이로 인한 고용안 전화와 관광진흥개발기금의 납부 등으로 불가항력적인 위기 상황을 맞고 있다. 대면서비스를 중심으로 하는 카지노 산업은 코로나19 팬데믹 위기상황에 더욱 취 약할 수 밖에 없으며 자산과 임직원, 고객 보호를 위해 보안의 중요성과 범위는 더욱 부각되고 확장되었다. 이 연구에서는 코로나19 팬데믹 상황에서 카지노 산업과 카지노 보안의 변화를 탐색하고자 문헌조사 방법을 활용하였다. 코로나19로 인해서 변화된 관광 트렌드에 신속하게 적응하고, 카지노 산업의 새롭 고 획기적인 아이디어와 기술 혁신으로 새로운 문화들을 만들어가기 위해서는 보안 의 역할이 필수적이다. 이를 통해 카지노 산업이 가진 양면성이나 명암에 대한 국민 적 인식과 재고를 통해서 더 개방적인 정책으로 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 질 높은 서비스 산업으로 발전하기 위한 선제적인 대응이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
