A number of elements should be essential in performing interpretation successfully; An interpretor should be equipped with general, cultural and subject-specific knowledge; an interpretor should keep herself concentrated on specific topics, and be of communication technique with know-hows; an interpretor should be trained to expand understanding and develop his own analysis techniques. However, language ability should be at the top of these elements as a prerequisite for interpretation. In this sense, this paper will explore the concept of language ability and the methods to enhance the language ability in order to find any suitable teaching methods for interpretation.
