The purpose of this study was to understand the research trend of multicultural related sports activities. As the research subjects, 122 academic papers were selected as the final research subjects by Riss with the keywords ‘multicultural + sports’ and ‘multicultural + physical education’ from 2012 to 2021. Analysis was conducted by extracting key keywords that appeared more than 3 times out of a total of 567 keywords in the research papers. As for the research method, a keyword matrix was generated using Textom for the extracted key keywords, and network analysis was performed on the generated matrix using Ucinet6. Finally, it was visualized using Netdraw program. The research results are as follows. First, the frequency of key keywords appeared in the order of multicultural families, multiculturalism, multicultural education, multicultural society, sports activities, multicultural students, sports participation, cultural adaptation, social integration, and friendships. Second, as a result of the centrality of connection analysis, it was found that the degree of connection with other key keywords was high in the order of multicultural families, sports activities, multiculturalism, multicultural education, sports participation, friendship, adaptation, multicultural society, multicultural students, and elementary school students. In conclusion, it can be seen that studies have been conducted that can help to adapt to the existing society through sports activities and participation.

본 연구의 목적은 다문화 관련 스포츠활동의 연구동향을 파악하는데 있다. 연구대상은 Riss(학술연구정보서비 스)에서 2012년부터 2021년까지의 ‘다문화+스포츠’, ‘다문화+체육’을 검색어로 학술논문 122편을 최종 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 연구대상 논문에서 총 567개의 주제어 중 출현빈도가 3회 이상인 핵심 주제어를 추출하여 분석을 실시하였 다. 연구방법은 추출된 핵심 주제어는 텍스톰(Textom)을 사용하여 키워드 매트릭스를 생성하였으며, 생성된 매트릭스 는 Ucinet6를 활용하여 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 마지막으로 Netdraw 프로그램을 활용하여 시각화하였다. 연구결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 핵심 주제어 빈도는 다문화가정, 다문화, 다문화교육, 다문화사회, 스포츠활동, 다문화학생, 스포 츠참여, 문화적응, 사회통합, 교우관계 등의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연결 중심성 분석 결과 다문화가정, 스포츠활동, 다문 화, 다문화교육, 스포츠참여, 교우관계, 적응, 다문화사회, 다문화학생, 초등학생 등의 순으로 다른 핵심 주제어와 연결정 도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 다문화와 스포츠·체육 관련 연구들은 차별없이 다양한 인종과 문화가 공존하는 사회를 형성하기 위한 방법으로 스포츠활동 및 참여를 통해 기존사회에 적응하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 연구들이 이루어진 것을 알 수 있다.
