The factors of change in career setting during the freshman period of sports university and post-graduation job selection based on the expected discrepancy. Data from 158 graduates with job selection were used as a population. A total of 7 questions were composed through an open questionnaire, and the analysis was performed according to the thematic analysis method. The results of this study indicate following First, the major themes were categorized into internal factors and extrinsic factors in the search for change factors in career setting and job selection after graduation based on inconsistency of expectations. The main topics of individual internal factors were insufficient preparation for major selection, difficulties in college life, and lack of awareness of career development, and 9 sub-themes appeared. In addition, the main topics of external factors were lack of major-related career education in the curriculum of the department, lack of understanding of specificity and diversity in sports in non-subject activities, lack of interest in career education by professors, and insufficient practice environment relate to physical education path and employment-related issues. and 14 sub-themes appeared. Second, in the search of factors for career setting in freshmen to lead to matching expectations of job choice after graduation, the major topics were categorized into reinforcement of the individual's internal environment and changes in the university's environment. The main topics of individual internal environment reinforcement were understanding of oneself, career exploration process, and preparatory behavior after career decision, and 11 sub-themes were found. In addition, the main topics of environmental change in universities were to establish an appropriate career education environment, develop career curriculum, and improve education and counseling programs, and 12 sub-themes were found.

기대불일치에 근거한 체육대학 신입생 시기의 진로설정과 졸업 후 직업선택의 변화요인을 탐색하였다. 취업에 성공한 졸업자를 모집단으로 158명의 자료가 활용되었다. 자료는 개방형 설문지를 통하여 총 7문항으로 구성하였으며, 자료 분석은 주제 분석(thematic analysis)방법에 따라 수행하였다. 이에 따른 연구 결과는 첫째, 기대불일치에 근거한 신입생 시기의 진로설정과 졸업 후 직업선택의 변화요인 탐색에서 대주제는 개인 내적요인과 개인 외적요인으로 범주화 하였다. 개인 내적요인의 중주제는 전공 선택에 대한 부족한 준비, 대학생활의 어려움, 진로개척 인식의 부족이며, 소주제는 9개가 나타났다. 그리고 개인 외적요인의 중주제는 학과의 교육과정에서 전공 관련 진로교육의 부족, 비교과활동에서 체육계열의 특수성 및 다양성에 대한 이해부족, 체육전공 교수님들의 진로교육에 대한 관심 부족, 체육진로 및 취업 관련 실습환경의 부족이며, 소주제는 14개로 나타났다. 둘째, 신입생 시기의 진로설정이 졸업 후 직업선택의 기대일치로 연결되 기 위한 요인 탐색에서 대주제는 개인의 내부 환경강화, 대학의 환경변화로 범주화 하였다. 개인의 내부 환경강화의 중주제 는 자신에 대한 이해, 진로탐색 과정, 진로결정 후 준비행동이며, 소주제는 11개로 나타났다. 그리고 대학의 환경변화의 중주제는 적합한 진로 교육환경 구축, 진로교육과정 개발, 교육 및 상담 프로그램 개선이며, 소주제는 12개로 나타났다.
