The use of imagery is an important part of the literary value of Eileen Chang's novels. Among them, the mirror image is one of the images that Eileen Chang is best at using to express the theme. Exploring the "mirror" image in her novels will help to demonstrate the aesthetic function of Eileen Chang's novels and analyze the imagery. The search for human nature behind originality. The use of her "mirror" image not only comes from memory in life, but also inherits and transforms classical literature, and is deeply influenced by traditional Chinese culture and the author's own growth experience. By interpreting this image from multiple angles, it can be seen that Fan Yan, the complex psychological activities of the characters in Zhang Ailing's novels, brings readers a reading experience and at the same time introduces the concern of human nature.
