This study analyzed the domain of music in daily life for each curriculum revision period and aimed to derive implications for the goal statement and learning contents of music in daily life. The contents and findings of the study are as follows. Firstly, as a theoretical background, the value and role of music in daily life were examined. The attitude of mind to learn and enjoy music comes from one’s interest and pleasure in music. Thus, it is natural that the purpose of the music curriculum becomes music in daily life. Also, music in daily life is connected with various social functions of music. Thus, the teaching and learning contents of music in daily life should be related to music and events, music and culture, music and industry, and music and career in addition to enjoyment through music. Secondly, the domains and categories of music in daily life were examined from a pedagogical perspective. The internalization of values for music in daily life requires learning and experience in the cognitive and psychomotor domains and needs competencies that encompass knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Therefore, the objective or achievement standard of music in daily life should be stated as an affective goal accompanied by learning in the cognitive and psychomotor domains and should be presented, including knowledge, skills, and attitude. Thirdly, the content of music in daily life for each curriculum revision period was analyzed based on objectives, instructional contents, and achievement levels. Despite the repeated revisions, the fact that the ultimate goal of the music curriculum is defined as music in daily life remains the same. The contents of music in daily life have been materialized, it was materialized, emphasizing the role and value of music and establishing a content system for music in daily life with a focus on learning elements and skills. However, in the new curriculum, more specific and achievable definitions are needed regarding teaching how to participate in music events actively and applying the learned music in real life.

본 연구에서는 교육과정 개정 시기별 음악과 생활화 영역을 분석하고, 생활화의 목표 진술 과 학습내용에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구의 내용과 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 이론적 배경으로 음악 생활화의 가치와 역할을 살펴보았다. 음악을 배우고 즐기는 자세는 음악에 대한 흥미와 즐김으로부터이다. 그러므로 음악과의 목적이 음악의 생활화가 되는 것이 마땅하다. 또 생활화는 음악의 다양한 사회적 기능과 연결되어 있다. 그러므로 생 활화의 교수ㆍ학습내용은 음악을 통한 즐거움 외에도 음악과 행사, 음악과 문화, 음악과 산업, 음악과 진로 등과 연관되어야 한다. 둘째, 음악 생활화의 영역과 범주를 교육학의 측면에서 고찰하였다. 음악 생활화를 위한 가치의 내면화는 인지․심동 영역의 학습과 경험이 필수적이고, 지식과 기능 및 태도를 아우르는 역량이 요구된다. 그러므로 생활화의 목표나 성취기준은 인지ㆍ심동 영역의 학습을 수 반한 정의적인 목표로서 진술되어야 하고, 지식ㆍ기능ㆍ태도를 포함하여 제시되어야 한다. 셋째, 교육과정 개정 시기별로 음악 생활화에 관하여 목표, 지도 내용, 성취수준을 기준으 로 분석하였다. 개정을 거듭하면서도 음악과의 궁극적 목표로 생활화를 정의하고 있는 점은 변함없다. 생활화 내용이 구체화되어 음악의 역할과 가치를 강조하고, 학습 요소와 기능을 중심으로 생활화의 내용 체계가 확립되었다. 그러나 새 교육과정에서는 음악행사에 적극적으 로 참여하는 자세를 가르치는 방법, 배운 음악을 실생활 속에 적용하는 방법 등에 관하여 더 구체적이고 구현 가능한 정의가 필요하다.
