This research provides a meaningful theoretical basis for the research and creation of contemporary ethnographic photos, and points out the key information. It is a qualitative study on the creation of ethnographic photos and the preservation and inheritance of national cultural traditions. From the perspective of anthropology, this paper studies the concept of photo ethnography after the "image turn", and discusses the creation and concept expression of contemporary ethnographic photos in the context of national culture. Analyze the different characteristics of photographers' artistic style and ethnographic expression under the influence of different national history and culture. This paper selects typical ethnographic photographers in Korea and China for comparison, and specifically analyzes the works of the Korean photographer Yu Yingui "The Story of Qinghedong" and the Chinese photographer Lu Nan's work "The Four Seasons: Daily Life in Tibet". The themes, pictures, and expressions of national emotions in their works are compared and analyzed, and the differences in their artistic styles and photographic languages are analyzed. Through the research of this paper, it is found that Liu Yingui's works are simple, diverse and warm, while Lu Nan's works are heavy, strong and calm. The main reasons for these differences in photographic styles and concepts are the photographer's upbringing and national cultural roots. These elements shape the photographer's emotions, values and cultural identity. Therefore, this study analyzes the cultural drivers behind the formation of their styles by comparing the differences between the two Korean and Chinese photographers.

본 연구는 현대 민족지 사진의 연구와 창작에 일정한 의미가 있는 이론 기초를 제공하고, 민족지 사진 창작과 민족 문화 전통의 보전 및 계승에 관련된 핵심 요소를 고찰한 정성 연구이다. 본 연구는 인류학의 시각으로 ‘사진 전환(pictorial turn)’ 이후 사진 민족지 이념을 연구하고, 민족 문화 컨텍스트를 배경으로 현대 민족지 사진의 창작과 이념 표현 문제를 고찰하며, 다양한 민족의 역사와 문화 영향에 따른 사진가의 예술 스타일과 민족지 표현의 각종 특징을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 한국과 중국의 대표적인 민족지 사진가, 즉 한국 사진가 류은규의 작품 󰡔청학동 이야기󰡕와 중국 사진가 여남(呂楠)의 작품 󰡔사계절: 티베트의 일상생 활(西藏的日常生活)󰡕을 구체적으로 분석하며, 해당 작품의 주제, 화면, 민족 감정의 표현을 비교 연구하고, 예술 스타일과 사진 언어의 차이를 고찰한다. 본 연구를 통해 류은규의 작품 스타일은 소박하고 다원적이며 온정이 가득하고, 여남의 작품은 깊고 강력하며, 냉정하다는 것을 발견하였다. 이러한 사진 스타일과 이념의 차이는 주로 사진가의 성장 경력과 민족 문화의 근원 등에서 비롯되고, 이 요소들은 사진가의 감정, 가치관과 문화 동일시를 구축하였다. 이에 본 연구는 대표적인 한·중의 두 사진가에 대한 비교를 통해 스타일 형성 이면의 문화 요소를 분석하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 의미는 두 사진가의 사진을 통해 독자가 더욱 깊게 한중 전통문화의 의미를 이해하고, 이미지에 대한 감상을 통해 직관적으로 한국 전통문화의 특징과 계승 상황, 그리고 중국 티베트 문화의 특징과 종교적 의미를 느끼는 것이다. 또한 이를 통해 양국 민족 문화의 현대 상황 그리고 한국과 중국 전통문화를 이해하고, 양국의 문화 교류를 위한 상호 감상의 시각과 양국의 문화유 산과 민족지 보존에 기초적인 연구 자료를 제공하는 것이다.
