If you look at the contents of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s ‘Culture Vision 2030’, it is taking the lead in realizing local cultural decentralization and revitalizing local characteristics and culture and arts with residents. Therefore, it is very encouraging to produce and create cultural and artistic contents while acknowledging the characteristics, specificity, and cultural diversity of each region. Therefore, in this thesis, we are going to study the case of development of performance contents, focusing on the performance centered on historical figures in the Chungbuk region. Jungbong Joheon, the central figure in the performance , was not originally from Chungbuk Province, but established ‘Huyuldang’ in Okcheon, and engaged in activities such as nurturing younger students. It can be said that he is a writer with many connections, a medical officer, and a political reformer. For this study, we would like to examine the case of performance contentization of historical figures in the Chungbuk region, and study the biography of Jungbong Joheon, the central character of the performance . Also, in the actualization of this performance, we will analyze the performance focusing on the direction of storytelling, the process of script development, the rhythm of the performance through music, and the expansion of space and time using the stage and video. Through this, we hope that many artists will be able to develop various cultural and artistic contents centered on representative historical figures of each region, and we hope that various theatrical elements will be used to create regional performance contents and global performance contents.

문화관광부 ‘문화비전2030’의 내용을 살펴보면 지역문화분권을 실현하고, 지역적 특성과 지역의 문화 예술을 주민들과 활성화하는 문화실현에 앞장서고 있다. 이에 각 지역의 특성과 특수성, 문화의 다양성 을 인정하며 문화예술 콘텐츠를 제작하고 창조하는 것은 매우 고무적이라고 본다. 각 지역은 지역별로의 특수성과 문화원형, 역사적 사실 및 역사적 인물이 존재하고 있다. 그리고 공연콘텐츠 제작에 있어서 역 사적 인물이나 사건은 공연콘텐츠 개발의 소재로 많이 활용되는 요소이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 충북지역 역사 인물을 중심으로 한 공연<광풍의 절개>를 중심으로 공연 콘텐츠 개발사례를 연구하고자 한다. 공연 <광풍의 절개>의 중심인물인 중봉 조헌은 본디 충북 태생은 아니지만, 충북의 옥천에서 후율당을 설립하 여 후학을 양성하는 등의 활동을 하였고, 후에 의병장으로서 청주성을 탈환하는 등의 충북과 인연이 많 은 문인이자, 의병장이자 정치개혁가라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구를 위해 충북지역 역사 인물의 공연 콘텐츠 화 사례를 살펴보고, 공연 <광풍의 절개>의 중심인물인 중봉 조헌의 일대기를 연구해보고자 한다. 또한 본 공연에 있어서의 실제화 작업에서 스토리텔링의 방향성 및 대본 개발의 과정 및 공연에서의 음악을 통한 공연의 리듬감, 무대와 영상을 활용한 시공간의 확장을 중심으로 공연을 분석해보고자 한다. 이를 통해 많은 예술가들이 각 지역의 대표적인 역사 인물을 중심으로 한 다양한 문화예술 콘텐츠를 개발하고 다양한 연극적 요소를 활용하여 지역을 대표하는 공연 콘텐츠로 더 나아가 세계적인 공연 콘텐츠로 거듭 나기를 바란다.
