This study explores moral knowledge through analysis of 'episteme(ἐπιστήμη)' and ‘techne(τέχνη) revealed in Plato's dialogue. First, 'episteme', which is understood as knowledge or wisdom, is divided into 'perception', 'true judgment', and 'true judgment with explanation', and further connected to 'theoretical knowledge' and 'practical knowledge'. In addition, ‘techne’, understood as 'technology', explains the nature and cause of knowledge, presents functions and goals of knowledge, and is used as methodological knowledge and a reflection of knowledge. Through the analysis of 'episteme', the characteristics of moral knowledge were examined, and moral knowledge was divided into theoretical and practical knowledge. In addition to the research on 'techne', moral knowledge was structured into concepts and explanations, theoretical knowledge and methodical knowledge or reflective knowledge.

본 연구는 플라톤의 대화편에서 드러나는 ‘에피스테메(epistēmē)’와 ‘테크네(tekhnē)’에 관한 분석을 통해, 도덕적 지식에 관해 탐구한 것이 다. 먼저, 지식이나 앎으로 이해되는 ‘에피스테메’는 ‘지각’과 ‘참된 판 단’, 그리고 ‘설명을 동반한 참된 판단’으로 구분되며, 나아가 ‘이론적 지식’과 ‘실천적 지식’과 연결된다. 또한 ‘기술’로 이해되는 ‘테크네’는 지식의 본성과 원인을 설명하고 지식의 기능과 목표를 제시하며, 방법 적 지식과 지식의 성찰에 활용된다. ‘에피스테메’에 관한 분석을 통해, 도덕적 지식의 특징을 살펴보고 또한 도덕적 지식을 이론적 지식과 실 천적 지식으로 구분해 보았다. 여기에 ‘테크네’에 관한 연구를 더하여, 도덕적 지식을 개념과 설명, 이론적 지식과 방법적 지식 및 성찰적 지 식 등으로 구조화하였다.
