The purpose of this study is to find out the difference between the child's temperament, character, and sociometric score and the child’s status according to types of resulting profiles. To this end, the sociometric status was surveyed for 730 5th and 6th grade students of 11 elementary schools located in Gyeongsangnam-do and after collecting data by conducting TCI for the parents, the correlation between each variable was investigated. MANOVA and contingency tables verification were examined to compare the sociometric status and score as the level of these variables. The results derived from this study are summarized as follows; First, L score(Liked score) and SP score(Social preference score) had a positive relation with reward dependency, persistence, self-directedness and cooperativeness, and on the contrary, negative relation with novelty seeking and harm avoidance. On the other hand, D score(Dislike) had a positive relation with novelty seeking and negative relation with persistence, self-directedness, and cooperativeness. Second, there were significant differences in overall between the six temperaments except for self-transcendence, character variables and sociometric status. Third, Child’s temperament and character include five profiles: alienated, adaptive, self-transcendence, mature and immature types were drawn. Fourth, there was a significant difference in the distribution of sociometric status between the classified profiles. This study is meaningful in that, in contrast to the previous studies focusing only on fragmentary variables, the combination of temperament and variables interacts with each other and make a difference in the sociality measurement position.

이 연구는 아동의 기질, 성격 변인과 이러한 변인들의 프로파일 유형에 따른 사회성측정 점수와 지위의 차이를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경남 소재 11개 초등학교 5~6학년 학생 730명을 대상으로 사 회성측정지위를 조사하고 부모에게는 TCI를 실시하여 자료를 수집한 후 각 변인간의 상관을 알아보고, 이 러한 변인의 수준에 따른 사회성측정점수와 지위를 비교하기 위해 다변량분석과 분할표 검정을 하였다. 그리고 잠재 프로파일 분석을 실시하고 도출된 프로파일에 따른 사회성측정지위의 차이를 알아보았다. 이 연구에서 도출한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, L(긍정지명) 점수, SP(사회적 선호) 점수는 사회적 민 감성, 인내력, 자율성, 연대감과 정적 상관이 있었고, 자극추구, 위험회피와는 부적 상관이 있었다. 반면 D (부정지명)점수는 자극추구와 정적 상관, 인내력, 자율성, 연대감과는 부적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 자기초월 을 제외한 6가지 기질, 성격변인과 사회성측정지위 간에는 전반적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 기 질과 성격 변인들의 유형을 도출하여 사회성측정지위의 차이를 알아보기 위해 잠재프로파일분석을 실시한 결과 고립형, 적응형, 자기초월형, 성숙형, 미성숙형과 같은 5개의 프로파일이 도출되었고, 프로파일 유형 간에 기질, 성격 변인은 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 분류한 프로파일 간에 사회성측정 지위의 분포는 전반적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 의미와 시사점 을 논의하였다.
