This study examines the school situation after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. First, the importance of school counseling increased due to the limitation of non-face-to-face classes. Second, a new approach to school counseling is needed due to the deepening risk of mental health. Third, as the boundaries between education and care became blurred, the field of school counseling was expanded to the family. Fourth, as it became difficult to respond to child abuse and youth crisis, it was found that there is a need to expand the domain of school counseling to society as well. Based on this situational awareness, the direction and tasks of school counseling in the post-corona era were presented. First, the goal of school counseling should be expanded to go beyond ‘mind prevention’ to ‘mind immunity’. Second, the scope of school counseling should be expanded to link with the family and society at the school community level. Third, the school counseling method needs to be switched from ‘un-tact’ to ‘on-tact’. Fourth, information technology-based school counseling should be attempted by innovating the school counseling medium. Fifth, ultimately, it is necessary to operate a counseling community at the educational ecosystem level by establishing a sophisticated school counseling system. And finally, a nationwide school counseling data network should be established and utilized in order to activate school counseling research.

이 연구는 코로나 19의 팬데믹 사태 발발 이후의 학교 상황을 첫째, 비대면 수업의 한계로 인해 학교상담의 중요성이 증가하였고 둘째, 정신건강의 위험 심화로 인해 학교상담에 대한 새로운 접근이 필요하며 셋째, 교육 및 돌봄 경계가 모호해지면서 가정으로 학교상담의 영역 이 확장되었으며 넷째, 아동학대 및 위기청소년에 대한 대응이 어려워지면서 사회로까지 학 교상담의 영역이 확장되어야 할 요구가 발생하고 있다고 파악하였다. 이러한 상황인식을 바 탕으로 팬데믹 사태 이후 학교상담의 방향과 과제를 제시하였다. 첫째, 학교상담 목표를 확 장하여 마음방역을 넘어 마음면역으로 나아가야 하며 둘째, 학교상담 범위를 확장하여 학교 공동체 차원에서 가정 및 사회와 연계하여야 하고. 셋째, 학교상담 방법이 언택트(Un-tact)에 서 온택트(On-tact)로 전환될 필요가 있으며 넷째, 학교상담 매체를 혁신하여 테크놀로지 기반 학교상담을 시도해야 하고 다섯째, 궁극적으로 정교한 학교상담 시스템을 구축함으로써 교육 생태계 차원의 상담공동체를 운영해야 하며, 마지막으로 학교상담 연구를 활성화하는 차원에 서 전국 단위의 학교상담 데이터망을 구축하고 활용해야 함을 제안하였다.
