Major curriculum can be considered as the pivotal part of college curriculum because universities regard it meaningful to produce better careerman by providing professional education related to jobs. Also, it was identified that satisfaction with the major appears to increase when students have well-organized curriculum on knowledge and skills related to the major and have higher vocational value. Also, companies today hope for college students to join the company with the work skills required by the company rather than improving their skills through new training opportunities after entering the society. Therefore, universities that run aviation service departments need to re-establish their curriculum in the direction desired by the companies. In fact, students are experiencing role conflicts due to ambiguity of knowledge on major and skills and a sense of shame on the values of their job. Specially, in the aviation and tourism industries, employment opportunities are in decline due to the absolute oversupply compared to on-site demand, and It is expected to continue for a while due to the long economic downturn and the prolonged COVID-19. To improve this problem, domestic and foreign researchers are suggesting ways to improve the curriculum or various studies are being conducted according to researchers and fields, such as job valuation or the perceptual structure of students. In order to increase the employment rate, which is an important indicator of university competitiveness in today's infinite competition among universities, it is considered necessary to discuss the practical curriculum provided by schools and job values, such as which aspects of the job are important in a personal aspect of students as career selection. Therefore, this study considered that it is necessary to understand a correlation between practice-oriented curriculum, occupational value, educational satisfaction, and career decision level of university students majoring in aviation services. As a result of conducting a study to determine to what extent each variable affects practice-oriented curriculum, occupational value, educational satisfaction, and career decision level, it was identified that practice-oriented curriculum and occupational value make effects on educational satisfaction and career decision level.

대학들은 직업과 관련된 전문적인 교육을 제공함으로써 더 나은 직업인을 배출하는 것에 의의를 두 고 있기때문에 대학 교육과정의 가장 중심은 전공 교육과정이라 할 수 있다. 또한, 대학생들은 전공과 관련한 지식과 기술에 대한 교과과정이 잘 구성되고 직업가치관이 높은 학생일수록 전공에 대한 만족 도가 높아지는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 또한, 오늘날 기업들은 대학생들이 사회진출 이후에 새로운 연수 기회를 통해 업무능력을 제고하는 것보다 대학에서 기업이 요구하는 업무능력을 갖추어 입사하기를 희 망하고 있다. 때문에 항공서비스 관련 학과를 운영하고 있는 대학들은 교과과정을 좀 더 기업에서 원하 는 방향으로 재정립할 필요가 있다. 실제로 항공ㆍ관광 관련 대학을 졸업한 학생들이 전공 지식 및 기 능의 애매모호성으로 인한 역할 충돌이 일어나고 자기 직업의 가치관에 대한 자괴감에 빠져들고 있는 상황이다. 특히, 항공ㆍ관광 산업은 현장 수요대비 절대적 공급 과잉으로 취업 기회마저 어려워져가고 있고, 오랜 경기 침체와 코로나19의 장기화로 인하여 당분간 계속 될 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 문제를 개선하기 위해 국내외 연구자들은 교과과정 개선방안을 제시하거나 직업에 대한 가치 평가나 학생들의 지각구조와 같이 연구자와 분야에 따라 다양하게 연구되어지고 있다. 오늘날 대학 간의 무한경쟁 속에서 대학 경쟁력의 중요한 지표인 취업률을 높이고 학생들의 취업에 도움을 주기 위해서는 우선적으로 학교에서 제공되는 실무교과과정과 학생 개인적 측면인 직업선택에 있어 직업의 어떤 측면을 중요시하는지와 같은 직업가치관에 대한 논의가 필요하다고 사료된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 항공서비스 전공 대학생들의 실무교과과정, 직업가치관, 교육만족, 진로결정수준에 대한 상관성을 이해할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실무교과과정과 직업가치관이 교육만족도, 진로결정수준에 각각의 변수가 어느 정도로 영향을 미치는지를 파악하고자 연구를 진행한 결과 실무교과과정과 직업가치관이 교육만족도, 진로결정수준에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
