In this paper, through the example of Xa Hữu Thanh Oai Doan Toc(段族)'s gia pha(genealogy) named Doan Toc Pha(段族譜), I confirmed the bilateral consciousness of kinship idea in the gia pha and considered the background of such an idea even appearing in the gia pha. Doan Toc Pha is a 'Type of Ancestor' gia pha that is not easily found in the Vietnam's gia pha, given that it contains family tree(世系圖) that records only men based on the formal progenitor. However, according to the Doan Toc Pha, this was for convenience, and what was appropriate for the manners was the sense of the 'Type of Descendant'. In addition, the list of the anniversaries of the ancestors organized by the compiler, Doan Trong Huyen(段仲暄), recorded the same internal and external ancestors to the great-grandfather's. It seems that he had the identities of the 11th grandson of the Dan family and the 5th grandson of the maternal line of relatives at the same time. Doan Toc Pha frequently shows son-in-law taking care of his wife's home, and furthermore, his in-laws funeral, ancestral rites, and the renovation of the tomb. This can be seen in other gia pha in Vietnam. On the other hand, there were Confucian aspects emphasizing the role of a wife, including childcare and education, preparation for ancestral rites, and supporting her parents-in-law, but also recognized the economic activities of women outside the home. After a woman's marriage, her relationship with her parents, and her independence in inheritance or economic activities became a realistic condition for her husband (or son) to be conscious of her in-laws (or mother's family). These were reflected in gia pha as well.

본고에서는 하노이 근교 흐우 타인 오아이 (Hữu Thanh Oai, 右淸威) 사 도안 족(Đoàn tộc, 段族)의 자파 『단족보』의 사례를 통해, 자파 내의 양계적인 계보관념을 확인하고 이러한 관념이 자파에서조차 나타나게 된 배경 에 대해서 고찰하였다.『단족보』는 시조를 기점으로 하여 남성 족인만을 기록한 세계도를 수록했다는 점에서 베트남 자파에서는 쉽게 찾아볼 수 없 는 '선조중심' 형식에 충실한 자파이다. 하지만 『단족보』에 따르면 이는 어디까지나 편의를 위한 것이며, 예에 알맞은 것은 '자손중심' 형식의 계보 관념이었다. 또 편찬자 도안 쫑 후옌이 정리한 선조의 기일 목록에는 증조 대까지의 내외조가 동등하게 기록되어 있었고, "도안 족 제 11대손"이면서 동시에 "5대 외손"의 정체성을 가지고 있었다. 『단족보』에는 사위가 처가의 일을 돌보거나, 나아가 장인장모의 장례 식, 제사, 분묘 개장의 일에 관여하는 모습이 자주 등장하며, 이러한 현상을 베트남의 다른 자파에서도 확인할 수 있었다. 한편, 모친이나 아내의 행장 에서는 육아와 교육, 제사의 준비, 시부모 봉양 등 아내로서의 역할을 강조 하는 유교적인 측면도 존재했지만, 한편으로는 집 밖에서의 여성의 경제활 동 역시도 인정하고 있었다. 여성의 결혼 후에도 이어지는 아내와 친정과 의 관계나 재산상속이나 경제활동에서의 여성의 주체성과 독립성은 남편 (혹은 아들)이 처가(혹은 외가)를 의식하는 현실적인 조건이 되었다. 이와 같은 현실이 자파에도 반영된 결과라고 할 수 있다.
