The purpose of this study is to expand the scope of the history of global Korean literature by reading ‘Poems in Hangeul of Koreans in Anni’, which have not been dealt with before. The Korean poetry of Koreans in Indonesia is noteworthy in that it promotes reflection on life while accommodating the pure ‘equator’ spatiality. This study took note of the fact that their literature revealed their will to overcome the emptiness found in their literature on the path of living in vain, remembering the tragic past of the Korean people and revealing the passionate will to adapt to the local life. In terms of spiritual history, Indonesian Korean literature goes beyond the diaspora literature and touches the spirit of Korean modern and contemporary literature. Furthermore, their literature, which have been affiliated with the overseas branches of the Korean Writers Association, extends the diaspora literature field to the field of Korean modern literature. Therefore, the Korean literature of Koreans in Indonesia can provide ‘different’ insights for the research community that is waiting for unexplored areas of research. This study will contribute to a more in-depth look at the literary world of Asian Korean diasporas, which have shown transnational mobility.

연구의 목적은 이제까지 다뤄지지 않은 ‘인니 지역 한인들의 한글 시’를 읽음으로써 글로벌 한민족문학사의 외연을 확대하는 데 있다. 인도네시아 지역 한인들의 한글 시는 ‘적도’의 무구한 장소성을 수용하면서 생에 대한 성찰을 도 모했다는 점에서 주목된다. 이 연구는 이들의 문학이 망망하게 삶을 이어가는 도정에서 발견한 허무를 극복하려는 의지를 드러냈다는 점, 한민족의 비극적인 과거를 기억하거나 현지 삶에 적응하기 위한 열감 가득한 의지를 드러낸 부분 에 주목했다. 인도네시아 한인 문학은 정신사 면에서는 디아스포라 문학장을 넘어 한국 근현대문학의 정신과 닿고 있다. 한국문인협회 해외 지부에 소속돼 온 이들 문학은 디아스포라적 문학장을 한국현대문학 분야로까지도 연장시킨다. 때문에 이들의 한글문학은 미답 지역 연구 영역을 기다리고 있는 연구계에 ‘다 른’ 인사이트를 제공할 수 있다. 이 연구는 초국가적 이동성을 보여준 아시아 지역 한인 디아스포라들의 문학세계를 더 깊이 조망하는 데 기여할 것이다.
