This study analyzed how problem posing tasks included in 5th and 6th grades mathematics textbooks were distributed in terms of content area, task type, and context of task. The analysis of 5th and 6th grades mathematics textbooks based on 2007, 2009 and 2015 revised mathematics curriculum found that the proportion of problem posing tasks were 1.10%, 1.48%, and 1.57% according to mathematics textbooks of 2007, 2009, and 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. The proportion of problem posing tasks were similar with respect to content area. However, there were no problem posing task in measuring area in mathematics textbooks of 2007 and 2009 revised mathematics curriculum. Also, there were no problem posing task in data and probability area in mathematics textbook of 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. The proportion of modifying conditions of problem were about half of all problem posing task, and there were little tasks of real-life based problem posing.

본 연구는 2007, 2009, 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 5, 6학년 수학 교과서에서 문제 만들기 과제가 얼마나, 어떻게 제시되어 있는지 확인하는 데 목적 을 두었다. 연구 결과, 2007, 2009, 2015 개정 5, 6학년 수학 교과서에서 전체 과제 수 대비 문제 만들기 과제 수의 비율이 각각 1.10%, 1.48%, 1.57%로 소폭이지만 조 금씩 증가한 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 내용 영역별로 문제 만들기 과제 수의 비율 이 1% 내외로 거의 유사했다. 특히, 측정 영역은 2007, 2009 개정 수학 교과서에 문제 만들기 과제가 전혀 없었으며, 자료와 가능성 영역은 2015 개정 수학 교과서 에 문제 만들기 과제가 전혀 없었다. 또한, 문제 만들기 과제 수 대비 문제 만들기 과제 유형별 과제 수의 비율을 확인한 결과 대체로 조건 바꾸어 문제 만들기 과제 의 비율이 절반가량이었으며, 그 외 나머지 문제 만들기 과제 유형은 포함된 정도 가 비슷하였으나 실생활 맥락 기반 문제 만들기 과제의 수는 매우 적은 것으로 드러났다.
