Hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, the relationship between Korean residents and local residents in Tianjin international community has become strained. This study used the interview method to collect data, and through the analysis of the interview data found that interviews that Korean residents seem to marginally “embedded” into the community featured by lack of sense of community belonging, due to lack of services in community governance and social support systems for Koreans, as well as their enhanced sense of identity. In the event of a public health emergency, for Korean residents in China, they need to take advantage of their strengths to actively engage in community activities and expand their social support system; for the community, it should consider the integration of diverse cultures and the demands of multiple interests, and effectively resolve conflicts inside community and promote harmonious development through improvement of relevant legal system and collaboration of various departments.

본 연구는 천진시 국제화 지역사회에서 생활하고 있는 16명의 한국인을 대상으 로 2020년 2월부터 2021년 7월까지 일대일 면담, 전화 인터뷰 그리고 wechat 등 방식을 통해 코로나 방역기간 동안 지역사회 적응 및 융합에 관한 인터뷰 자료를 수집했다. 연구대상자 1인당 인터뷰 시간은 2시간 이상이고, 자료는 포화상태가 될 때까지 수집했다. 인터뷰 자료를 분석한 결과 코로나 방역기간 동안, 지역사회에서 생활하고 있는 한국인들과 중국 원주민들과의 관계는 악화된 것으로 나타났다. 뿐 만 아니라 한국인들을 위한 커뮤니티 거버넌스와 사회적 지원시스템의 부족으로 인 해 한국인들이 공동체 소속의식이 결여되어 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 연구자는 공중 보건 비상사태 발생 시 재중한인들은 자신들의 장점을 최대한으로 발휘하여 지역사 회의 일원으로서 지역사회 활동에 적극 참여하여 사회적 지원체계를 확대할 필요가 있으며, 중국의 국제화 지역사회에서는 다양한 이해관계를 가지고 있는 외국인들의 욕구를 고려하고, 다양한 관련 부서와의 협력과 법률 시스템의 개선을 통해 지역사 회 내부의 갈등을 효과적으로 해결하고 지역사회의 조화로운 발전을 촉진하기 위해 노력해야 한다고 생각한다.
