In the 2015 revised curriculum, competition activities for the 6th graders of elementary school consisted of a net-type game, and the representative unit among them is a volleyball-type game. However, the volleyball-type game has not been active in the elementary school and has become a sport that teachers and students alike avoid. Therefore, in this study, the cause of the failure of the volleyball-type game to be activated in the field was identified through literature research and classes were conducted to solve the problems found. The net installation method, which required time and effort, was fixed with a pulley-type string and improved to be easily and quickly installed using the gym structure. As a result of selecting a volleyball ball that is not burdensome and teaching elementary school students, the following conclusions were drawn. 58.6% of students responded that their perception of the sport of volleyball was positively changed after class, and 86.2% of students answered that they were willing to participate in volleyball-type games in the future. In the evaluation of the overall volleyball-type game, 72.4% of the students answered that it was fun, and the volleyball-type game, which was avoided in the field, solved the problem of net installation that was burdened by the teacher and the poor reaction of the students, and evaluated that it was a pleasant physical education time for the students.

2015 개정 체육과 교육과정에서 초등학교 6학년 경쟁 활동은 네트형 게임으로 구성되었고 이 중 인지도가 높은 단원은 배구형 게임이다. 하지만 초등학교 현장에서 배구형 게임은 활성화되지 못하 고 적지 않은 구성원들이 기피하는 종목이 되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 현장에서 배구형 게임이 활 성화되지 못하는 원인을 문헌 조사를 통해 확인하고 찾아낸 문제점을 해결하고자 수업을 실시하였다. 많은 시간과 노력이 요구됐던 네트 설치 방법을 도르래 형태의 끈으로 고정하고 체육관 구조물 을 이용해 쉽고 빠르게 설치하도록 개선하였으며 초등학생에게 부담이 적은 배구공을 선택하여 수 업한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 낼 수 있었다. 58.6%의 학생이 수업 후 배구 종목에 대한 인식이 긍 정적으로 바뀌었으며, 86.2%의 학생들은 이후에도 배구형 게임이 참여할 의사가 있다고 응답했다. 전반적인 배구형 게임에 대한 평가에서 72.4%의 학생들이 재미있다고 응답하여 현장에서 기피했던 배구형 게임이 교사에게 부담됐던 네트 설치 문제와 저조한 학생들의 반응을 해결하고 학생들에게 즐거운 체육시간이 되었다고 평가한다.
