The purpose of this study is to examine the adaptation status of Cross Cultural Kids (hereinafter referred to as CCKs) according to cultural transformation through literature-based research-trend-analysis(연구동향분석) and to present future tasks and implications for adapting and growing well into society as citizens of the transnational era. Therefore, I tried to examine the flow and trend of related studies by grasping the research status, research method, research subject, and research content of 100 domestic academic papers conducted for 20 years from 2001 to 2020. The results of this study are as follows. First, The most papers have been published in 2015 along with the increase in the number of returning students in the publication year, and the publisher was identified as academic journals in the fields of education (27%), language (20%), psychology and treatment (16%), and youth (10%). Second, the subjects of the study were returning students (45%), early international students (30%), TCKs/CCKs (11%), overseas Korean youth(8%), and missionary children (6%). Third, in the research method, quantitative and qualitative research were conducted in a balanced manner, 24 of 35 quantitative studies were confirmed as psychological adaptation, and 20 of 46 qualitative studies were confirmed as cultural adaptation. Fourth, the contents of the study were school and study(29%), language, psychological counseling, and treatment(21%), followed by identity and self-esteem (17%), social and cultural system and life change (12%), support target relationship (6%), and career (5%). In the factors of cultural adaptation stress, the psychological and relational aspects of overseas adaptation and domestic adaptation were similar in content, while in the case of school, academic, and social culture, the content was different. Based on these analysis results, I would like to present the future direction of CCKs' cultural adaptation research and suggest research tasks.

본 연구의 목적은 교차문화아이들(Cross Culture Kids: 이하 CCKs)의 문화변용에따른 적응현황을 문헌을 기반으로 한 연구동향분석을 통해 살펴보고 초국가시대 시민으로서 사회에 잘 적응하고 성장하기 위한 향후과제와 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 이에 CCKs의 적응과 관련하여 2001~2020년까지 20 년간 수행된 국내학술논문 총 100 편을 대상으로 연구현황, 연구방법, 연구대상, 연구내용을 파악함으로써 관련 연구의흐름과 동향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 발행연도의 경우 귀국학생의 증가와 함께 2015년 가장 많은논문이 발표되었으며 발행처는 교육(27%), 언어(20%), 심리·치료(16%), 청소년(10%) 분야의 학술지로 파악되었다. 둘째, 연구대상은 귀국학생(45%), 조기유학생(30%), TCKs/CCKs (11%), 재외동포청소년(8%), 선교사자녀(6%) 순이었다. 셋째, 연구방법을 살펴보면 양적연구와 질적연구가 균형적으로 이루어졌으며, 양적연구 35편 중 24편은 심리적 적응을, 질적연구 46편 중 20편은 문화적 적응에 관한 연구로 확인되었다. 넷째, 연구내용은 학교·학업(29%), 언어·심리상담·치료(21%)로 많았으며, 정체감·자존감(17%), 사회문화제도·생활의 변화(12%), 지지대상관계(6%), 진로(5%)순이었다. 문화적응 스트레스의 요인에서 해외적응과 국내적응의 심리·관계적인 면은 내용이 비슷한 반면, 학교·학업, 사회문화의 경우 내용의 차이를 보였다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 토대로 CCKs의 문화적응 연구의 향후 방향을 제시하고 연구 과제를 제언하고자 한다.
