, one of representative multicultural films in Korea, is not only a successful popular culture content, but is also being actively studied in academic and educational fields. This study also developed and presented education plans using the movie . The purpose of the study is to present Korean culture education plans using the movie for immigrant adolescents, who can be said to share similar experiences with the main character, Wandeuk. Education plans that combines Korean socio-cultural education and career education, which can be said to be necessary for immigrant adolescents, was proposed. Classes were presented sequentially with an understanding of film, an understanding of Korean society and culture, and an understanding of career paths. This study is meaningful in that it expands the possibilities of the movie as an educational material by designing classes so that cultural knowledge, cultural understanding, and self-awareness can be achieved as target outcomes. It is also expected that the education plans proposed in this study may be utilized in various educational programs being implemented for immigrant adolescents.

한국의 대표적인 다문화 영화인 <완득이>는 인기 있는 대중문화 콘텐츠일 뿐만 아니라 학술적 차원에서도 활발히 연구되고 있다. 본 연구 또한 교육적 차원에서 <완득이>를 활용한 교육방안을 개발하여 제시했다. 교육 대상으로는 주인공 완득이와 비슷한 경험을 공유하고 있다고 할 수 있는 이주배경청소년을 설정하여, 한국문화 교육방안을 제시하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이주배경청소년에게 필요하다고 할 수 있는 한국의 사회문화 교육 및 진로교육을 통합하여 3차시의 교육방안을 제안했다. 영화에 대한 이해, 한국 사회와 문화에 대한 이해, 진로에 대한 이해로 수업이 제시되며 문화 지식, 문화 이해, 자기 인식을 목표 결과로 성취할 수 있도록 수업을 설계함으로써, 영화 <완득이>의 교육적 제재로서의 가능성을 확장시킨 것에 본 연구의 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구에서 제안한 교육방안은 이주배경청소년을 대상으로 시행되고있는 다양한 교육 프로그램에서 활용될 수도 있을 것으로 기대한다.
