It is also worth noting that Kim Jong Un has been constantly implementing the North Korean-style Economic Management and Socialist Corporate Responsibility Management System since he rose to power. Recently, the North Korean government's economic management has been carried out by maintaining consistency in North Korean-style reforms in the large extent, but at the same time, the government fine-tunes its policies to reorganize its planned economy and strengthen authority over economy. The growth potential of the Korean Peninsula is recognized worldwide. I think we should not just wait for the reunification, but rather should find ways to cooperate with North Korea that two Koreas can take benefits from integration of economy while being divided. Economic cooperation between the two Koreas will lead to a huge influx of investment in various social infrastructure sectors, which will create many jobs.

김정은 집권 이후 시도된 북한식 개혁인 ‘우리식 경제관리방법’이나 ‘사회주의 기업책임관 리제’를 큰 틀에서 이어가고 있다는 점도 눈여겨 볼 필요가 있다. 최근 북한당국의 경제관리 는 큰 틀에서 북한식 개혁의 일관성을 유지하되 계획정제를 재정비하고 통제를 강화하는 방 향으로 정책을 미세조정하는 방식으로 이루어지고 있다. 한반도의 성장 잠재력은 세계적으 로 인정받고 있다. 우리에게 주어진 환경을 최대한 활용하는 것은 통일을 마냥 기다리기 보 다 남북이 분단되어 있으면서도 통일된 효과를 누릴 수 있는 남북 경제협력 방안을 강구하 는 것이라고 생각한다. 남북간 경제협력이 이루어지면 각종 사회적 인프라 부분에서 막대한 투자 유입 및 일자리가 창출되어 경제 도약의 발판이 될 수 있다.
