In this paper, the 4th industrial revolution era through a basic analysis of the education division among the public perception surveys on the 4th industrial revolution that is being carried out in ‘study on the transformation of science, communication technology, and science and culture policy’ supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea. The purpose of this study is to examine the educational content and direction of education necessary for social science through classical liberal arts education. You can check the questionnaires and responses to the educational subjects of education and education policy in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the direction of education, teaching methods, changes in classroom space, environmental factors for securing creativity, and requirements for enhancing creativity. Through this, although the terminology of the 4th industrial revolution is familiar, there is a need to actively discuss the direction and content of liberal arts education required in the 4th industrial revolution era, and the discussion of class operation. The significance of this study is that the purpose of the 4th educational revolution (using big data, IoT, meta-verse, etc.), which is being discussed along with the 4th industrial revolution, is also based on inclusive education using communication. It can be improved through education. In particular, it is hoped that it will be referred to in providing an opportunity for learners to explore and design their career paths and practice education in the context of sustainable development by using the classics of social sciences together with the Anthropocene discourse convergence in university liberal arts education.

본고에서는 한국연구재단 지원으로 진행 중은 ‘과학, 커뮤니케이션 기술, 그리고 과학문화 정책의 대전환 연구’에서 수행중인 4차 산업혁명에 대한 대국민 인식조 사 중 교육 분과에 대한 기초분석을 통해 4차 산업혁명시대에 필요한 교육내용과 교육의 방향을 사회과학 고전 교양교육을 통해 살펴보는데 있다. 4차 산업혁명시 대의 교육과 교육정책의 교육주체, 교육의 방향, 교수법, 교실공간의 변화, 창의력 확보를 위한 환경적 요소 및 창의력 제고를 위한 요건에 대한 설문과 응답을 확인 할 수 있다. 이를 통해 4차 산업혁명에 대한 용어는 익숙하지만, 4차 산업혁명 시 대에 필요한 교양교육의 방향과 내용, 수업운영에 대한 논의 등이 좀 더 활발히 이 루어질 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 의의는 4차 산업혁명과 더불어 논의되고 있는 4차 교육혁명(빅데이터, IoT, 메타버스 등을 활용)의 목적 역시 의사소통을 활용한 포용적 교육에 기초 하고 있음을 사회과학 고전 교양교육을 통해 제고할 수 있다는 데 있다. 특히 인류 세 담론과 더불어 사회과학의 고전을 대학 교양교육에서 융합적으로 활용함으로 서, 학습자의 진로탐색 및 설계와 지속가능한 발전 맥락의 교육을 실천할 수 있는 계기를 마련하는데 참조되길 바란다.
