This research starts on the premise that Christian spirituality is essentially the Trinity. Through the historical development process and conceptual arrangement of pericoresis, the critical concept of the Trinity has been identified as the theoretical and academic implications of modern Christian spirituality. Five insights and wisdom that the concept of pericoresis provides to Christian spirituality are presented. First, pericoresis explicitly declares God is a relational being, and second, pericoresis in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit embodies a relational existence through self-giving love. Third, the perpetual reciprocal circulation and permeation of the Trinity transcends the boundary of existence, and fourth, the transcendence of the existential boundary enables the Trinity to participate in mutual existence and to embody koinoia. Fifth, the self-giving love of the pericoresis Trinity God overflows to the surroundings so as to ask the soul to join in the kingdom and will of God, and it asks s soul to realize justice among humans and the world. The concept of the pericoresis Trinity provides the most fundamental foundation for realizing the unique characteristics of the spiritual direction, which is based on the trinitarian dynamics between God, the spiritual director/companion, and the directee. First, Pericoresis God asks us to confess that the soul is a relational being in the image of God. Based on this fundamental confession, we declare that the Triune God is the true spiritual leader, and that he is the beginning and model of spiritual direction oriented toward the Trinity. Second, the self-giving love of the Trinity becomes the basis for realizing the spirituality of hospitality in the spiritual direction. Third, Pericoresis God, who transcends the boundaries of existence, invites us to pursue a spirituality of tolerance and consideration in the three-fold dynamism of spiritual guidance. Fourth, Pericoresis God, who presents the ultimate model of koinoia, guides us to seek and experience the spiritual and mysterious koinoia among God, spiritual director/companion, and the directee in the spiritual direction/guidance. Fifth, souls participating in koinoia with God begin a new spiritual awareness and discernment through daily contemplative prayer, and begin to participate in God's creative work that transcends human history and culture.

기독교 영성은 본래적으로 삼위일체적이라는 전제 위에 본 연구는 출발한다. 삼위 일체 개념인 페리코레시스의 역사적 발전과정과 개념정리를 통해 현대 기독교 영성에 미치는 이론적이며 학문적인 함의를 확인한다. 페리코레시스 개념이 기독교 영성에 제공하는 다섯 가지 통찰과 지혜를 다음과 같이 분석한다. 첫째, 페리코레시스 하나님 은 본래적으로 관계적 존재라고 고백하며, 둘째, 페리코레시스로서 성부, 성자, 성령 하나님은 자신을 내어주는 사랑으로 관계적 존재를 구현한다. 셋째, 삼위의 영속적인 상호 순환은 존재의 경계를 초월하시며, 넷째, 존재의 경계 초월은 삼위가 상호 존재 적으로 참여하시며 코이노이아를 구현하신다. 다섯째, 페리코레시스 삼위일체 하나님 의 사랑은 존재를 초월하여 주변으로 흘러넘쳐 하나님 나라와 뜻을 구현하시며, 인간 과 세계 가운데 정의와 공의 실현을 요청하신다. 페리코레시스 하나님 개념은 삼위하나님, 영성지도자, 피지도자 사이의 삼위적 역 동을 근간으로 하는 영성지도 사역이 영적 돌봄사역으로 고유한 특징을 실현하는데 가장 근본적인 영적 토대를 제공한다. 첫째, 페리코레시스 하나님은 영혼이 하나님 형 상으로서 관계적 존재임을 고백하도록 요청한다. 이 근본적 신념위에 삼위 하나님께 서 진정한 영성지도자시며, 삼위적 역동을 지향하는 영성지도의 시작이며 모범이심을 선포한다. 둘째, 삼위하나님 안에서 자신을 내어주는 사랑을 영성지도 안에서 환대의 영성을 구현하는 토대가 된다. 셋째, 존재의 경계를 초월하여 임재하시는 페리코레시 스 하나님은 영성지도의 삼위적 역동속에 관용과 배려의 영성을 지향하도록 초대한 다. 넷째, 코이노이아의 궁극적 모델을 제시하시는 페리코레시스 하나님은 영성지도 가운데, 하나님, 영성지도자, 피지도자 사이의 영적이며 신비한 코이노이아를 추구하 고 경험하도록 안내하신다. 다섯째, 하나님과의 코이노이아에 참여한 영혼은 일상의 관상기도를 통해 새로운 영적 인식과 분별을 시작하며, 인간 역사와 문화에 초월적으 로 임재하신 하나님의 창조적 사역에 참여하기 시작한다.
