Affect’s literary history, which was rushing toward democratization, defined Park Jung-Man as a participating poet, and failed to view his poetry with the holistic perspective of change and development. In addition, the first appearance of a two-verse, five-line poem, ‘Sitting at the foot of a mountain’ published in Modern Literature in 1982, made me reconsider the metaphysical background of the poetic form, which has been understood as a code of death impulse and resistance. In this sense of problems written above, his late poetry, which was restored through bibliographic data, can be called ‘writing poems of shame.’ In the face of violence, he found himself unable to resist the violations committed by the powerful subject of violence, without free will or ignorance at all, and this has become a driving force for him to repeatedly write poems of shame. In the 1980s, when the hegemony of literature shifted through the discourse of ‘resistance,’ the newly emerging media called ‘resistance’ as a strategy to seize the hegemony of the literary field. It can be said that his poem writing was a process of sublimating ‘writing poems of shame’ into an aesthetic experience through short poems with two verses, five lines, and a pause. Affect, which evokes emotions, desires, and behaviors through ‘body’ as a mediator, not only provides a correct understanding of his poetry, which was called and was distorted in the literary history of the 1980s, but also provides a better understanding of the literature of the democratization period that was contextualized with the discourse of ‘resistance.’ Noting that it is also a valid methodology as long as it can be interpreted from a new perspective of ‘repetition,’ I hope that the restoration of the Park Jung-Man bibliography and writings will be a stepping stone for the study of him.

주화를 향해 질주하던 정동의 문학사는 박정만을 참여시인으로 규정하고, 변화와 발전이라는 총체적 시각에서 박정만의 시 쓰기를 조망하지 못했다. 「산 아래에 앉아」라는 2연 5행시가 1982년 『현대문학』에 수록되었다는 서지 확인은 그간 ‘죽음 충동’과 ‘저항’이라는 코드로 이해되었던 시 형식의 형이상학적 배경을 재고하게 하였다. 이러한 문제의식에서 서지적 자료를 통해 복원된 박정만 후기시는 ‘수치의 시 쓰기’라 할 수 있다. 그는 필화사건을 통해 권력 주체가 저지르는 ‘위반’에 항거하지 못하는 자신을 마주하게 되고, 그것은 그에게 끊임없는 자학과 가학이라는 수치의 시 쓰기를 반복하게 하는 동인이 되었다. 또한, ‘저항’이라는 담론으로 문학의 헤게모니가 이동하던 1980년대 새롭게 등장했던 매체들은 문학장의 헤게모니를 장악하려는 전략으로 ‘저항’을 선택하게 되는데, 그것은 박정만의 개인사적 비극과 요절을 ‘저항’이라는 담론으로 유입시키는 결과로 이어졌다. 그러나 그의 시는 저항 대상에 대한 방향성이나 의미를 확보하지 못한 한계를 갖는다. 오히려 그의 시는 2연 5행시라는 단형과 휴지행을 통해 미적 체험으로 승화시키는 ‘수치의 시 쓰기’였다고 할 수 있다. ‘몸’을 매개로 발생하는 감정, 욕망, 행동의 연관성을 조망할 수 있는 정동은 1980년대 문학사와 박정만 후기시의 상관관계에 유효한 설명을 제공한다. 또한, ‘저항’이라는 담론으로 일원화되었던 그의 시가 수치를 극복하기 위한 ‘반복수행’이었으며, 2연 5행시라는 독자적 시 형식을 통해서 수치를 미적 체험으로 승화시키는 실천이었다는 것을 언급하면서, 목록으로 작성된 박정만 서지 자료가 박정만 연구의 한 디딤돌이 되기를 기원하며 글을 마친다.
