This study aims to compare and examine the perception on Japan and Joseon and the aspect of responses to the prohibition on the sale of poetical works by the authority in the poems by Moon Byeong-ran and Matuda Tokiko and to discuss the significance of their resistance. Though the environment they were in and where they lived were different, they intended to put emphasis on the point revealing overcoming imperialism of Japan, internal reflection, border-transcending solidarity, and spirit of humanism based on their own perception on Japan and Joseon each, trying to find the meaning of their perception. When the controlling-controlled structure disappeared and the voices of the desire for democratization began to spread after liberation, Moon Byeon-ran accepted lots of opinions of many citizens and students toward anti-autocracy as the people’s demands. Matuda Tokiko, on the other hand, focused on representing the perspective of proletarian class, that is to say wage earners and farmers, and the class taking the lead in criticizing the contradiction of capitalism. Therefore, the ideology and ideals that they pursued were different from each other. However, it was identified that they in common aimed for a society that they perceived without giving in to the tyranny of unlawful authority and suppression at all under the banner of resistance as seeking for the spirit of peace all the time with the thought that the division of Korea resulted from the plunder of Japanese imperialism, which is where the significance can be found.

본 연구는 문병란과 마쓰다 도키코의 시편에 나타난 일본 인식과 조선 인식, 그리고 권력의 시집 판금 조치에 대한 대응 양상을 비교, 고찰해보고 두 사람의 저항성의 의의를 논하고자 했다. 둘의 처한 환경과 토양은 다르지만, 각자의 일본 인식과 조선 인식을 통해 제국주의 극복과 내부 성찰, 국경 초월한 연대와 휴머니즘의 정신이 엿보이는 점을 주시하고, 그 의미를 확인하고자 했다. 물론, 해방 이후 지배와 피지배의 구도가 사라지게 되고 민주화에 대한 열망의 목소리가 퍼져나갈 즈음 한국에서는 반독재적 노선을 지향하는 다수의 시민과 학생의 목소리를 문병란은 민중의 요구로 수용했고, 이에 반해 마쓰다 도키코는 프롤레타리아 계급, 즉 노동자·농민의 시점과 자본주의의 모순 지적에 앞장서는 계층을 대변하는 활동에 주력했다. 따라서 추구하는 이데올로기와 이상은 달랐다. 하지만 남북 분단이 일본제국의 침략주의에 기인한 것으로 보고, 줄곧 반전 평화의 정신을 견지함과 동시에, 각자가 인식하는 사회를 지향하며 불법적 권력 횡포, 탄압에도 전혀 굴하지 않고 저항의 기치를 내세웠다는 부분을 공통점으로 확인할 수 있었으며, 그곳에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다고 본다.
