Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of employment-related attitudes of people with brain lesions, such as degree of family support for employment, self-efficacy, self-esteem, and degree of disabilities acceptance on their social participation. Methods : 281 people with brain lesions who responded as brain lesions disorder in the second wave of the forth data of Panel Survey of Employment for Disabled were selected as the study subjects. Pearson's correlation coefficient was analyzed to identify variables that could predict social participation relating to employment-related attitudes. Finally, multiple linear regression analysis was performed to investigate the effect of each variable on social participation. Results : The correlations of the variables affecting social participation of persons with brain lesions were analyzed, resulting that self-efficacy (p<.001), degree of family support for employment (p<.001), degree of disabilities acceptance (p<.05), education level (p<.01), and degree of disabilities acceptance (p<.001) turned out to have positive correlation. Among the factors of employment-related attitude of people with brain lesions, it was analyzed that degree of family support for employment (p<.001), degree of disabilities acceptance (p<.001), and self-efficacy (p<.001) accounted for 20.7% of social participation. Conclusion : Among the factors of the employment-related attitude of people with brain lesions, degree of family support for employment and self-efficacy were analyzed as important variables affecting social participation. In the future, when applying occupational therapy interventions to improve social participation, degree of family support for employment and self-efficacy should be taken into consideration.

목적: 본 연구는 뇌병변장애인의 취업관련 태도 즉, 가족의 취업지지 정도, 자기효능감, 자아존중감, 장애수용정도가 사회참여에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 장애인고용패널조사(Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled) 2차 웨이브 4차 조사 자료 중 뇌병변장 애로 응답한 281명의 뇌병변장애인을 연구 대상자로 선정하였다. 연구 대상자의 일반적 특성과 취업관련 태도가 사회참여를 예측할 수 있는 변인을 확인하기 위해 피어슨 상관분석(Pearson’s correlation coefficient)로 분석하였다. 각 변수들이 사회참여에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중선형회귀분석(Multiple Linear Regression Analysis)을 실시하였다. 결과: 뇌병변장애인의 자기효능감(p<.001), 가족의 취업지지 정도(p<.001), 장애수용정도(p<.05), 교육수준(p<.01), 장 애등급(p<.001)은 사회참여와 정적인 상관관계를 보였다. 뇌병변장애인의 취업관련 태도 요인 중 가족의 취업지지 정도(p<.001), 장애등급(p<.001) 자기효능감(p<.001)이 사회참여를 20.7% 설명하는 것으로 분석되었다. 결론: 뇌병변장애인의 취업관련 태도 요인 중 가족의 취업지지 정도와 자기효능감은 사회참여에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변인으로 분석되었다. 향후 뇌병변장애인들의 사회참여를 향상시키기 위한 작업치료 중재 접근 시 가족의 취업지지 정도와 자기효능감을 고려해야 할 것이다.
