The objective of this study is to analyze the dance behavioral intention of dance majors by applying the goal-directed behavior model. As the research subjects, this study selected total 300 students including 150 students majoring in dance of Y university, and 150 students majoring in dance of K university in Gyeonggi region. Also, using the convenience sampling, total 261 samples were analyzed. Using the SPSS & AMOS 21 Statistical Program, this study conducted the frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation path analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the attitude, subjective norm, and positive anticipated emotion as the constructs of the goal-directed behavior model had significant effects on the aspiration. Second, the perceived behavioral control of the goal-directed behavior model had significant effects on the dance behavioral intention. Third, the aspiration of the goal-directed behavior model had significant effects on the behavioral intention. The results of this study are significant for understanding the practical decision-making process of dance majors, which is expected to be used for exploring the alternatives to urgent problems related to academic persistence and future career of dance majors.

본 연구는 목표지향 행동모델을 적용하여 무용전공자의 무용행동의도를 분석하는데 목표를 두고 수행하였다. 분 석을 위하여 경기권 Y 대학교 무용학과 재학생 150명과 K 대학교 무용학과 재학생 150명으로, 총 300명을 연 구대상으로 선정하였다. 또한 편의표집법을 활용하여 총 261부의 표본을 통하여 분석을 진행하였다. 분석에는 SPSS 및 AMOS 21 통계프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정 식 경로분석을 진행하였다. 이에 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 목표지향 행동모델의 구성개념 중 태도, 주관 적 규범, 긍정적 예기정서는 열망에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 목표지향 행동모델의 지각된 행동통제는 무용 행동의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 목표지향적 행동모델의 열망은 행동의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과는 무용전공자의 실천적인 의사결정과정에 대한 이해에 있어 의미가 있으며, 현재 무용전공자가 지닌 학업 지속 및 미래 진로 등과 관련한 당면 과제에 대한 대안의 탐색으로 활용될 것을 기대할 수 있다.
