Dusil(斗室) Lee Hwanmo(李煥模, 1735~1821) was a scholar who lived in Chungcheongnam-do for the three generations of Yeongjo, Jeongjo, and Sunjong in the late Joseon Dynasty. He was an upright scholar who did not go to office. Seojeonkiyi(書傳記疑) is Lee Hwanmo's Shangshu Review. Seojeonkiyi is a fragmentary record of the interpretation of Shangshu, the same and different interpretations, and the way to read Eonhae(諺解, Korean annotation). In particular, there are many references to different parts of the Zhuxi(朱熹)'s commentary and Caishen(蔡沈)'s commentary. Most of them criticized Caishen's explanation and supported the Zhuxi's theory. However, Lee Hwan-mo also pointed out that Zhuxi's explanation was very excessive. Zhuxi's explanation was not unconditionally accepted. This resulted from the expansion of the vision of the 18th century Chosun scholars and the improvement of their reading comprehension ability. The dissemination and learning of various writings, such as Zhuzi-Yuilei was the key to opening the diversity of interpretation. He also pointed out the inconsistencies and errors between Eunhae and Caishen's commentary. He sought the accuracy and diversity of scripture interpretation. And he aimed for open science.

두실(斗室) 이환모(李煥模, 1735~1821)는 조선후기 영조, 정조, 순종 3대에 걸쳐 생존했으며, 충청남도 지역에 기거했던 처사(處士)였다. 『서전기의』는 이환모의 『서경』 독서기로서 그 속에는 경문의 해석, 주석의 동이(同異), 언해(諺解)의 독법 등에 관한 내용이 단편적으로 기록되어 있다. 특히 주자설과 채침설이 서로 어긋나는 부분에 대해서 언급한 부분이 많은데, 대부분 채침설을 비판하고 주자설을 지지하였지만, 일부 주자설의 과도함을 지적한 점은 주자의 해석을 무조건적으로 수용한 것이 아니었음을 잘 보여준다. 이는 18세기 조선문인들의 시야의 확장과 독해능력의 향상에서 비롯된 것인데, 기존의 『오경대전』뿐만 아니라 『주자어류』와 다양한 문집의 보급과 어류체(語類體)의 학습은 해석의 다양성을 열어주는 열쇠였다. 또한 관본 언해본의 언해와 주석의 불일치 혹은 독법의 오류 등을 지적한 점은 경해(經解)의 정확성은 물론 해석의 다양성을 추구하는 열린 학문의 자세를 견지한 것으로 평가된다.
