This paper examined the Image-Number theory-based methodology shown in Kwon Geun(權近)’s Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄) and its connection with Wu Cheng(吳澄)’s Yizuanyan(易纂言). Through these examinations, I was able to derive roughly the following results. Kwon Geun's Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄) critically inherits not only Cheng Yi's Yichuan Yizhuan(伊川易傳) and Zhu Xi's Zhouyi Benyi(周易本義) but also Wu Cheng(吳澄)’s Yizuanyan(易纂言). In particular, he critically inherits the Image-Number theory-based methodology that appears in Wu Cheng(吳澄)’s Yizuanyan(易纂言). This can be said to represent the nature of complementary to the Image-Number theory-based methodology lacking in Cheng Yi's Yichuan Yizhuan(伊川易傳) and Zhu Xi's Zhouyi Benyi(周易本義). Kwon Geun accepts Guabian(卦變) and Hugua(互卦), but does not accept Biangua(變卦) among the three main Image-Number theory-based methodology of Wu Cheng(吳澄)’s Yizuanyan(易纂言). Along with this consideration, we also need to reconsider the status and significance of Kwon Geun's Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄) in the history of Chosun Yixue. Until now, it is not an exaggeration to say that the evaluation of Kwon Geun's Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄) has been mainly made in the Yili Yixue(義理易學)’s aspect. Therefore, the tendency to view Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄) as a book of Yili Yixue(義理易學) occupies the majority. However, as can be seen from the review of this paper, Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄) can be viewed as a book of eclectic nature between Yili Yixue(義理易學) and Image-Number Yixue(象數易學) which includes a Image-Number theory-based methodology rather than a book of Yili Yixue(義理易學). Only through this comprehensive evaluation can one understand the Image-Number Yixue(象數易學) of the history of Chosun Yixue. The Image-Number Yixue(象數易學) nature of Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄), which is the origin of the history of Chosun Yixue, was followed by Cho Ho-ik's Yixiangshuo(易象說), Cheong Yak-yong’s Zhouyi Sijian(周易四箋), a Image-Number theory-based book in the history of Chosun Yixue. In other words, the beginning of the Image-Number theory in the history of Chosun Yixue can be seen as Kwon Geun's Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄). In this regard, the Image-Number theory-based approach to the Zhouyi Qianjianlu(周易淺見錄) is meaningful.

본고는 권근(權近)의 『주역천견록(周易淺見錄)』에 나타난 상수학적 방법론에 대해 오징(吳澄)의 『역찬언(易纂言)』과의 관련성을 중심으로 고찰해 보았다. 이러한 고찰을 통해 필자는 대략 다음과 같은 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 권근의 『주역천견록』은 정자의 『이천역전(伊川易傳)』과 주자의 『주역본의(周易本義)』뿐만 아니라 오징의 『역찬언』을 비판적으로 계승하고 있다는 점이다. 특히, 오징의 『역찬언』에 나타나는 상수학적 방법론을 비판적으로 계승하고 있다. 이는 정자의『이천역전』과 주자의 『주역본의』가 결여하고 있는 상수학적 방법론에 대한 보완의 성격을 나타낸다고 할 수 있다. 권근은 오징의 『역찬언』에 나타나는 『주역』 괘효사 해석의 3대 방법론인 괘변(卦變), 변괘(變卦), 호괘(互卦) 중에서 괘변과 호괘를 받아들이지만, 변괘는 수용하지 않는다. 이러한 고찰과 함께 우리는 권근의 『주역천견록』이 가지는 조선역학사의 위상과 의의도 재고할 필요가 있다. 지금까지 권근의 『주역천견록』에 대한 평가는 주로 의리학적 측면에서 이루어져 왔다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 그래서 『주역천견록』을 의리학적 역학서로 보는 경향이 다수를 점하고 있다. 그러나 본고의 고찰을 통해서 알 수 있지만, 『주역천견록』은 단순한 의리학적 역학서가 아니라 상수학적 방법론을 포함하고 있는 의리학과 상수학의 절충적인 성격의 역학서로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 종합적인 평가를 통해서만 조선역학사의 주요한 경향인 상수학적 흐름을 이해할 수 있는 것이다. 조선역학사의 원류라 할 수 있는 『주역천견록』이 가지는 상수학적 성격은 이후 조선역학사의 상수학적 역학서인 조호익(曺好益)의 『역상설(易象說)』, 정약용의 『주역사전(周易四箋)』등으로 이어지고 있다. 즉 조선역학사의 상수학적 흐름의 시원을 권근의 『주역천견록』으로 볼 수 있는 것이다. 이러한 점에서 『주역천견록』에 대한 상수학적 접근은 의미가 있다고 하겠다.
