This study aims to analyze the color of public facilities of Gamman Pier Citizens' Park in the a Waterfront space, in order to identify the image of the park and present implications. The scope of this research is to analyze were limited to rest facilities and sanitary facilities through theoretical background analysis. The research method measures the color of public facilities in Gamman Pier Citizens' Park through a portable color system and extracts the value of color with a Muncell conversion program. Based on the results the color image of public facilities shall be analyzed to understand the color characteristics of parks. The findings are as follows. First, 22 colors were derived except for overlapping colors, and the major blue-purple (PB) category was applied in sanitary facilities, and the major red (R) category was applied on the remaining facilities. Second, the rest area facilities mainly used the colors of medium brightness and low chroma, while the sanitary facilities mainly used the colors of medium brightness and high chroma. Third, the rest area facilities were shown to embody decent images, while sanitation facilities were shown to embody mostly subtle images. The results of the study showed that public facilities centered on natural materials have differences in saturation between the colors of rest area facilities and sanitary facilities. It is hoped that this study will serve as a foundation for the color design of parks aimed for Waterfront public spaces.

본 연구는 부두공간인 감만부두 시민공원의 공공시설물을 대상으로 색채를 조사하여 공원이 갖는 이미지를 파악하고 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 조사대상은 이론 고찰을 통해, 휴게시설과 위생시설 중심으로 한정하였다. 연구방법은 휴대 측색계를 통해 감 만부두 시민공원의 공공시설물 색채를 측정하여 먼셀 변환 프로그램으로 먼셀 색 값을 추출한다. 결과를 바탕으로 공공시설물 의 색채 이미지를 분석하여 공원의 색채특성을 파악한다. 조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중복되는 색채를 제외한 22개의 색 채가 도출되었고 위생시설물에서 주요 청보라(PB)계열이 적용되었고 휴게시설물에서 주요 빨강(R)계열이 적용되었다. 둘째, 휴 게시설물은 주로 중명도 저채도의 색상을 이용하였고 위생시설물은 주로 중명도 고채도의 색상을 이용하였다. 셋째, 휴게시설물 은 점잖은 이미지를 구현하는 것으로 나타났고 위생시설물은 주로 은은한 이미지를 구현하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과에 서는 자연소재 중심의 공공시설물에 휴게시설물 색채와 위생시설물 색채에 채도의 차이를 주고 있다는 점을 도출해 내었다. 본 연구가 부두공간을 목표로 하는 공원의 색채설계에 있어 기초자료가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.
