This article aims to examine the current status and characteristics of old restaurants in Gangwon Province. The most important thing in human life is food, clothing and shelter. And among them, food is very important. However, food, clothing and clothing have not been discussed as academic subjects despite their importance. However, as studies have recently been conducted in each field of study to pay attention to and give meaning to everyday life around us, food, and shelter have also become important research tasks, especially food has emerged as a key task in humanities research. In line with this trend, this article examines the current status of old stores in Gangwon-do, and the characteristics of old restaurant topos accordingly. The characteristics of old restaurant Nopo in Gangwon-do can be summarized as follows. Makguksu and Dakgalbi spread throughout Gangwon Province, leading old food stores, North Korean food was established as old food stores by displaced people who defected to the South after the Korean War, and old food stores in Gangwon Province are closely related to the local tourism industry and economic revitalization. We will conduct various research on old stores in Gangwon-do.

이 글은 강원지역의 오래된 음식 가게 노포(老鋪)의 현황과 특성을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 인간의 삶에서 가장 중요한 것은 의식주이다. 그중에서도 음식은 대단히 중요하다. 하지만 의식주는 그동안 그 중요성에도 불구하고 학문적 대상으로 논의되지 못했다. 그러나 최근 학문의 각 분야에서 우리 주변의 일상을 주목하고 이에 의미를 부여하는 연구들이 진행되면서, 의식주 또한 중요한 연구 과제로 자리매김하게 되었고, 음식은 그중에서도 인문학 연구의 핵심 과제로 부상했다. 이 글은 이러한 경향에 맞추어 강원도의 오래된 가게 노포의 현황과 그 특성을 살펴보았다. 강원지역의 오래된 음식 가게 노포의 특성은 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 막국수와 닭갈비가 강원 전 지역에 확산되어 대표 음식으로 자리 잡아 오래된 음식 가게 노포를 주도했다는 점, 한국전쟁 이후에 월남한 실향민들에 의해서 북한 지역의 음식이 오래된 음식 가게 노포로 자리 잡았다는 점, 군사시설과 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있다는 점, 강원지역의 오래된 음식 가게는 지역의 관광 산업 및 지역의 경제 활성화와 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있다는 것이다. 이 글에서 자세히 다루지 못한 강원지역 오래된 가게 노포에 대한 다양한 연구는 차후에 진행하도록 하겠다.
