This paper aims to review the significance of Moreno's psychodrama. Until now, psychodrama had been considered by mainstream psychodrama researchers to have no theory of its own, but psychodrama was originally designed based on the original theory of inter-personal psychopathology. Inter-personal psychopathology has expanded the area of psychotherapy from individual to inter-personal, and the main concepts of psychodrama are originally terms of inter-personal psychopathology. The research method compares the significance of psychodrama according to the meanings of the main concepts of psychodrama of Moreno and psychodrama after Moreno. I classify the psychodrama after Moreno as psychoanalytic, anti-psychoanalytic, group therapeutic, and analytic psychological psychodrama, and compare the differences in the interpretation and application of each theory for the same term. The study found that the significance of psychodrama after Moreno was included in the significance of Moreno's psychodrama. This is because Moreno's psychodrama was born as a synthesis of all psychotherapy, and the inter-personal psychopathology includes personal psychology, but the reverse is not established. Therefore, the conclusion is that direct research on Moreno's psychodrama, which has been neglected so far by reviving the significance of Moreno's psychodrama of synthetic and expanded psychotherapy, should be realized. A limitation of this paper is that it may not have covered all the psychodrama of various theories generated after Moreno.

이 논문은 모레노의 사이코드라마의 의의를 재검토하는 데에 목적이 있다. 지금까지 사이코드라마의 주류 연구자들은 사이코드라마에는 자체의 이론이 없다고 여기는 경향이 있었으나, 사이코드라마는 처음부터 개인 간 병리학이라는 독창적인 이론을 토대로 고안되었다. 개인 간 병리학은 치료 영역을 개인에서 개인 간으로 확장했으며, 사이코드라마의 주요 개념들은 원래 개인 간 병리학의 용어들이다. 연구방법은 모레노의 사이코드라마와 모레노 이후의 사이코드라마의 주요 개념들의 의미에 따른 사이코드라마의 의의를 비교하는 방식을 취했다. 모레노 이후의 사이코드라마를 정신분석적, 반-정신분석적, 집단치료적, 분석심리학적 사이코드라마로 분류하고 동일한 용어에 대한 각 이론의 해석 및 적용의 차이를 비교했다. 연구결과 모레노 이후의 사이코드라마의 의의는 모레노의 사이코드라마의 의의에 포함된다. 이는 모레노의 사이코드라마가 모든 정신치료의 종합으로 탄생했으며, 개인 간 병리학은 개인 심리학을 포함하지만 그 역은 성립하지 않기 때문이다. 따라서 결론은 정신치료의 종합과 확장이라는 모레노의 사이코드라마의 의의를 되살려 지금까지 소홀했던 모레노의 사이코드라마에 대한 직접적인 연구가 활발히 이루어져야 하며, 이를 바탕으로 개인 간 치료로서의 사이코드라마의 임상적 적용이 실현되어야 한다는 것이다. 이 논문의 한계는 모레노 이후 생성된 다양한 이론의 사이코드라마를 모두 포괄하지는 못했을 수 있다는 것이다.
