This study analyzes the effects of democracy on social justice and the moderating effect of economic-based political inequality in the relationship between democracy and social justice. As a result of the analysis, the more appropriately the public officials represent the residents, the more equitable the judgment of the judiciary applied to all citizens is, the more the legal order is established and properly enforced, or the more the judiciary guarantees individual freedom, the more social justice is enhanced. It can be seen that the more frequently donations are provided, or the more neutral the composition of the data or advisory experts, when policies are established or changed, the more fairly opportunities are guaranteed. Based on the results, policy measures are suggested as follows : resolving unfairness in law enforcement such as respect for the previous governor, preferential treatment for chaebols, and generous punishment for the power class. And adjudication monitoring movement, transparency of political donations, expert mentoring for citizens and use of blockchain-based electronic voting are necessary. It suggested the institutionalization of the binding force of citizen participation decisions and the improvement of social mobility of the socially disadvantaged.

본 연구의 목적은 민주주의 유형이 사회적 정의에 미치는 영향과 민주주의 유형과 사회적 정의의 관계에서 경제기반형 정치적 불평등의 조절효과를 분석하는 것이다. 분석결과, 공직자가 주민들을 적절 하게 대표할수록, 사법부의 판결이 모든 국민들에게 공평하게 적용될수록, 법질서가 제대로 확립되어 올바로 집행될수록, 사법부가 개인의 자유를 잘 보장할수록, 시민들에게 정책결정자료를 충실하게 제공 할수록 사회적 정의가 제고된다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 그 외에도 정당이나 정치인에게 정치 기부금을 자주 제공할수록, 정책이 수립되거나 변경될 때 정부가 참고하는 자료나 자문 전문가의 구성이 중립적 일수록, 이해가 용이한 정책결정자료가 제공될수록 공정한 기회가 보장됨을 발견하였다. 이를 토대로 본 연구는 사회적 정의를 제고하는 방안으로 다음 내용들을 제안하고자 한다. 예를 들 어, 전관예우, 재벌에 대한 특혜, 권력층에 관대한 처벌 등 법집행의 불공정성을 해소하고, 판결감시운 동 전개, 정치기부의 투명성 제고, 시민들에 대한 전문가 멘토 제공, 블록체인 기반의 전자투표 활용, 시민참여결정의 구속력 제도화, 사회적 약자들의 사회적 이동성 제고 등을 위해 노력해야 할 것이다.
